One of the better dining experiences that can be had in Connecticut. Michelin star quality without the price. The staff is extremely personable and makes you feel as if you are the only person in the restaurant. They are very knowledgeable about the menu. The presentation and taste of the food is exceptional. The food is farm to table with fresh ingredients. The dining room is dimly lit and intimate. The experience has been consistent the 5 times that I have visited.

Such a calm, comfortable space. No yelling needed here to speak to your fellow diner. Professional staff and service. Little details to highlight your evening. In these days of fast dining, it felt like a vacation to sit and enjoy each course and each other, both of us having no need for cellphones. Reservations are likely necessary so plan ahead. You won't be disappointed.

This farm to table is exactly what you expect! The yellowtail tartare and octopus app was amazing, the salmon and halibut - the best we've ever had, and the pineapple upside down cake was a perfect finish! The staff was outstanding and service was impeccable! We will definitely be back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This restaurant ranks with some of the best I have been to. There arraay of apps from octopus to a beet salad to fois gras are absolutely fresh and on point. The dinners Steak encrusted in bone marrow, halibut poached in olive oil and peking duck with yuzu honey were simply the best I've had. Thank You

One of the best meals I've had out in a while. Definitely more of a higher end place and the portions are smaller. We were full after everything from the bread, drinks, appetizers, meal and deserts. Great example of a local farm to table restaurant. 5/5 recommend.

Excellent food and outstanding staff all within a lovely restaurant. We sat down with a party of five with high expectations and were not disappointed in any way. This was our first visit to Arethusa al tavolo and we were greeted as if being monthly regulars. The servers were truly what I consider trained, seasoned professionals. Our waitress was very knowledgeable of the menu and could not do enough for us throughout the evening. The food and its presentation was exceptional. We knew we were in for a fine dining experience when we received an amuse-bouche. From that point until the complementary petit fours, there were nothing but raives and appreciation for a job well done by the chef and kitchen staff. The next time we are going to be in the Bantam/Litchfield area we will definitely make reservations and revisit Arethusa al tavolo.

We dined here on Valentine's Day weekend & it didn't disappoint!A nice, quiet, intimate restaurant tucked into small town Litchfield County , I've been dying to try after hearing rave reviews. Neat & clean with friendly, outgoing staff.Drinks were A+ from the Martini to the after dinner Cappuccino. We had the cheese board & the pork belly dumplings that were outstanding. We also had the grilled octopus, which was good, just too much salsa that took away from the classic char. Our entrees were on point. We had the scallop entree as well as the monkfish, which was better than dining in the islands.Would definitely recommend, A+++! Perfect date night spot!

The food was good. The yellowtail tartare and octopus as an appetizer was a favorite. The monkfish was delicious, and the duck was amazing not gave me or anything. Riesling was yummy. Our server was wonderful and attentive.
