This is literally the best sandwich shop i have ever been to. Best we have ever had.
I enjoyed the Turkey banh mi & my husband had Philly. We both agreed it was the best place with extra care, passion and great service!

Well worth traveling to from far away. There are a lot of vegetarian and vegan options. The sandwiches are amazing especially falafel, and Meraki has *the best* breakfast sandwich in the entire state of CT, and I have tried many.
Bakery goods are always super fresh and soft and sell out quick. Fun quirky flavor combos. I got a blackberry mango scone and a strawberry walnut muffin today for tmrw morning. Soup specials are always really good. Great coffee and really top tier lattes...
The place is just outstanding and its always awesome to see the business owners Chef Patty & Chef Martin, working in their very special restaurant. There are hardly any places like this anywhere anymore. You can tell the owners take a lot of pride in their restaurant and it comes thru in every bite and every visit.
Great menu, something for everyone, lots of tempting things you may have never seen before!
Local sourced ingredients... they bake their own brioche buns in house. I could go on and on about how much I love Meraki lol. Prices are reasonable and portions are hearty, healthy.
Cold salads of many kinds to go as well. Meraki is a 1 in a million gem!

Actually the most unwelcoming place i’ve ever been to. I was not treated as a customer and watched the owner scream at her staff. I was genuinely baffled, and the food was sub par.

Super interesting and creative choices! Acts like a laid-back community place – but add on the excellent food and choices.
Great little place, great food… however there are a few concerns that apply. My visit began when i met the worker, she was busy and took a few minutes to get to me, there was only one. It seemed stressful for a young girl to handle. I would like to add I also noticed (who i presume to be patty) administering aggressive behavior to the worker and being a bit pushy. i cannot recall the exact interaction. Though, it was along the lines of the employee doing something and it not being to her standard and she critiqued it a bit unprofessionally. I ordered the chipotle chicken burrito, and it came in a timely fashion. It was overall very good and authentic but the beans were a bit sour. I noticed everything seems to be a bit outdated. The silverware looked dirty, my spoon was rusted and changing colors. This also goes for the mugs and water cups, they are stained and unappetizing. I couldn’t help but notice a lot of things were taped together like the display case and the tea holders. It is not visually appealing and makes you question what it looks like behind closed doors. My visit was a few months back, and i held back on this review for a while until a niece of mine voiced a similar experience. She said that There were flies everywhere. I can sympathize with battling flies to an extent, but it was excessive. Finally, i got a lemon bar to go and it was handed to me wrapped in a small piece of wax paper and did not feel sanitary. When i tried it (immediately after my purchase) it tasted sour and as if it had gone bad or should’ve been previously refrigerated. While it’s not a total no for me, i think that some management is in order. Definitely take out, lol

This place is the bomb! I have dietary restrictions, and it can be hard to find places to eat. They accommodated my dairy and gf needs easily! They even had gf wraps, which is so nice. The owners and staff were kind and welcoming. The food was phenomenal! We ate here twice a day for most of our vacation…

Been wanting to try this spot for ages, but ultimately really disappointed.
My salmon tacos took half an hour (!) for take-out, and when I got home, I saw I’d been given two tacos: the dine-in orders, served before me, had been given three.
The food itself was okay, neither great nor bad. But the slow service and missing taco leave me hesitant to try Meraki again.
Lovely little place with an exceptional menu and great atmosphere. We loved the outdoor seating area! The honey latte was delicious.

It’s just the best sandwiches in town. So many amazing options. They’ve got those premade pasta salads and the like, delicious pastries, good coffee, and service with a smile. It’s a little cramped eating in, but you can’t beat it for takeout. Give them a call ahead of time for a seamless lunch experience.

I’ve had the pleasure of visiting Meraki each of the last 3 days and it’s been exquisite all 3 times. The sandwiches are truly a work of art, both in taste, and appearance (they even smoke their own meats here!). Truly divine, they are a spectacle in themselves and a true staple of Litchfield, Connecticut. What’s more, the staff is incredible, both Ava and Taylor have made this experience one I’ll never forget, really bringing forth small town charm of this little restaurant. Through humor, charisma, and personality, Ava and Taylor taught me about their wonderful town, life in Connecticut, and brought joy to my day that I would have never otherwise felt. These ladies are incredible at what they do. And alas, that brings me to the owner, an incredible woman full of charm and energy, she really tied the entire experience together. Without her, none of this would be remotely possible. A round of applause for Meraki, one of the best restaurants I’ve stumbled upon in New England, and an experience I will never forget. I highly recommend you give this wonderful spot a shot🙌
