The regular staff here are great, and for decades, this has been my go-to ice cream place. In fact, it’s the only place I eat ice cream anymore because I’m lactose intolerant—but the ice cream here was so good that I didn’t care. Whenever I’m back in Torrington to see family, I stop—sometimes twice a day. But now it feels like they’re slipping. Prices have gone up and no portions have gotten smaller. You can no longer get two different flavors in a “one-scoop” size. I’ve been eating their toasted almond for 20 years, and last time, it was just plain almond flavor. Then, I drove 10 hours R/T from Maine specifically in early July to get a specific sorbet flavor that is so tasty it makes me forget all about dairy. I usually get a larger quantity at this time of year(the only time of year they have it) and buy dry ice to pack it back with me so I can dish it out slowly. This year, I was told that the largest size they’ll pack sorbet in is quart ($15). I asked if I could place a special order for two half gallons ($20 ea) for the next time they were pouring. Turns out, they aren’t pouring any more this year. And besides, even if they did that, there would be a surcharge—no matter what, a gallon of this sorbet would cost me $60! SIXTY DOLLARS!! No exceptions. No discount for buying 4 quarts. $60 for a gallon of ice cream. That’s insane. Very disappointed that y seem more concerned with making money hand over fist on NYers with NY money rather than rewarding a literal lifetime of loyalty.

Eh. Expensive. Paid $25 for 4 ice cream scoops. I ordered Oreo, pretty sure it had one piece of Oreo in the whole scoop.

Great ice cream , good portions and excellent customer service. I love the outside seating area although it would be nice if they had a restroom instead of a port a potty.

We were passing by and the place is very cozy and the ice creams are delicious. We ordered an affogato and a banana split, we were surprised by the portion of the banana we shared 4 people from a single order.

Love Peaches & Cream! It is so hard to decide on what flavors to choose from. There are so many delicious choices! The cannoli is so good. I am waiting for watermelon sorbet. It is hard to find anywhere. They are a bit pricey, like everything lately but, definitely worth stopping in for a treat. The best ice cream in Litchfield County and beyond!

Want a fun place and the ice cream is delicious. I had toasted almond and butter pecan. The butter pecan was my fav. You have cone options of a reg, sugar or waffle and a waffle bowl which is a great idea on a hot day.

My husband and I rented the ice cream truck for our wedding, and it was a big hit! Everyone raved about how delicious the ice cream was, and the kids enjoyed taking pictures in front of the truck! The owner Katarina was wonderful to work with! We started with an in person tasting where she recommended flavors and educated us about how the ice cream is made. She is passionate about her business and providing the highest quality product to her customers! She was in contact with us every step of the way to make for a seamless event! BEST ICE CREAM IN CT!!!

Every time we make our way up to the Litchfield /Torrington area, it's an unwritten rule that we stop at Peaches N' Cream, and they never disappoint!! We had Eggnog and Peppermint ice-cream cones. Love, love, loved. PS.. it's never too cold for ice-cream 💖

You can only try one flavor. Which is self-evidently absurd. Next.

It's okay, a mediocre local ice cream place. Nice big scoops! Only one worker who spoke too quietly and didn't let me know the total of my order, so I had to ask. Didn't feel welcomed when I walked in, the atmosphere just felt 'weird' for a lack of better word.
