Amazing!!! I stopped in Sat. 3/9/24. I ordered a breakfast sandwich with ham & cheese in Gluten Free bread. They toasted the bread and the egg was cooked to perfection! Such helpful staff and so grateful for the GF bread. I will be back.????

This spot is one of my top sandwich places in CT. Lots of delis around CT make big sandwiches but skimp out on ingredients, one popular CT chain comes to mind that I shall not name, but Petraroia makes a nice big sandwich with great quality ingredients and the prices, while not cheap, are fairly competitive with most other delis considering the quality. My two favorite sandwiches are the Italian combo and the chicken cutlet with prosciutto. The cutlets are always cooked to perfection, never dry. I've only had the sandwiches and coffee but they also serve hot foods, soups, salads, and more, all which also look great.

I’ve been here twice, both times ordering the Italian combo. The description includes oil and vinegar as you would expect and not mayo, but both times my sandwich was slathered with mayo! Must be a Litchfield thing, reminds me of the movie “Undercover Brother”.

My friends and I were staying at an air bnb in the area and popped into this place to get some sandwiches for lunch. Everything we ordered was extremely delicious, flavorful, and fresh tasting. The portion sizes were great for the prices! I got the BLT and the garlic aioli was so good. Wish I was a local because I'd love to go back!

I got the most delicious Italian cookie tray. The assortment was fantastic and reminiscent of the cookies my family had at every Christmas gathering. Everyone loved them.

My wife and I visited Petraroia deli last Saturday and throughly enjoyed our grinders we got. I got the Italian combo and it was one of the best I've ever ate. The bread was fresh, the cold cuts were cut fresh and the condiments were perfect. My wife got the chicken combo and said it was also one of the best she ever had. The staff is also friendly and helpful. Definitely will be coming back.

Came here twice while visiting Lichfield. The sandwiches are excellent. Both times I got the buffalo chicken sandwich so I suppose that is all I can speak to, but my wife also loved her sandwich was well. Mine was a good sized sandwich that was just so tasty. It's a hip, trendy spot with great food at a reasonable price. If you're in the area and feel like a sandwich, you can't do better.

Would have gotten 5 stars except for the baguette for the roast beef grinder is way too tough to chew, and the prices are very steep. I had the roast beef grinder and my friend had the chicken cutlet grinder. We also purchased a stuffed bread with sausage and long hots. I wish they would use the same bread they used for the chicken cutlet for the roast beef grinder. Or consider doing a pretzel roll -type of bread for the roast beef grinder. I am not sure if there were any gluten free bread options, but they do sell gluten free pastas for dry goods. Great atmosphere and excellent customer service. Love the variety of grab n go items. A large soup (to -go) is $15 and the large salads are $14.

Prompt service, fresh. Curry sandwich was a bit underwhelming. Chicken+curry powder+dash of mayo. That was it. Could have used some more pop from other traditional ingredients as it only has shredded iceberg lettuce. Seems like the focus was to be on the curry flavor and the roll(which was good). If so, need to pull more flavor from the salad.Latter had far too much milk in it and any coffee flavor was drowned out.Otherwise nice place.

First time here. Very bright, clean and inviting. Simple sandwich menu, but not simple sandwiches. There are some nice twists and new ideas, as well. I had the Eggplant sub (or whole, as they call it). It came on a very fresh and soft roll with lightly breaded eggplant, roasted red peppers, broccoli raab, fresh mozzarella and a delicious garlic aioli that just brought it all together. The fingerprint cookie was very good. The chocolate chip cookie was good, but needed a touch of salt. We sat to eat while waiting for additional take out sandwiches, which were brought out to us at our table by the friendly, but somewhat overwhelmed staff. I look forward to returning to try a few other sandwiches soon!
