The food and service was excellent. The flavors were so well balanced. My girlfriend and I said we would split the Jailhouse burger. Waitress asks how we liked the burger, girlfriend says medium and I say medium rare almost at the same time. The burger comes out cut in half on separate plates each with sides. One was medium rare the other medium. Didn't realize it until we were almost finished. I guess I'm impressed by the little things. Very cool decor too. We must go back.

Live the atmosphere of an old jailhouse and the small rooms made it quite and comfortable. Service was excellent, I just wish the food was too. I started with the crispy cauliflower bites which was supposed to be in a general tso sauce. It was served in a small bowl, probably 5-6 small pieces crispy but dry. Lime was so dry you couldn't squeeze it. I asked for some kind of dipping sauce and our server brought out three different kinds which were delicious and should automatically come with the $14 bites. For my meal I got the crispy buffalo chicken salad which was supposed to come with blue cheese dressing but didn't. Had to ask the server to bring some. The chicken was not remotely crispy, it was just boiled chicken with buffalo sauce on a small bed of warm mixed greens for $21. Have to say I was disappointed in the food and probably would not go back.

Table was ready on our arrival. Sat in a booth in the bar. Cocktails were excellent, entrees generous and delicious. Chef accommodated a special vegan menu request. Service was friendly, attentive and professional. Wonderful dinner experience.

This place was great. We sat outside and enjoyed a lovely evening. Food was really good. My husband loved the meatloaf and I had an amazing chickpea salad. Only disappointment was the chicken I ordered with it the salad, it was dry. Our waitress was so bubbly and helpful.

I always have such a pleasant experience when vising this restaurant! The staff is amazing, everyone is so friendly and attentive. The food is also amazing. I do wish they had a few more plant based options, but for what it is, it's amazing. I look forward to the next visit!

Service is always good. However, the meal was far less than satisfactory. My Impossible burger was burnt to a crisp! The sandwich was supposed to come with avocado and it was barely detectable. I didn't have the heart to tell our server, as I was catching up with an old friend and didn't want to spoil our time together.

Love marketplace but this experience wasn't our favorite. Not that we have a preference but we weren't offered the tap, sparking or still water like other tables. We never received bread like everyone else (for some reason this happens to us at Mercato too). The food was good as it usually is and we will definitely be back. Just wish it was consistent. We always get an app and drinks and our meal so we aren't walking out with a cheap bill so it would have been nice to have the full experience be great.
The food was not well prepared: Nachos were cold— cheese had hardened; one meal in our party came late because waitress forgot to put the order in; risotto was not made with cheese- it was basically cooked rice with some food coloring in it; chopped salad was limp and over dressed.
First time at this restaurant. There aren't a lot of choices on a Monday night and I don't think they were prepared. They ran out of two signature cocktails and we had to get up and find the waitress. Food was good, and based on that I would hide it another chance.
Our hostess was so lovely; adjusting the noise level the minute we asked. The service was good except I prefer when dirty dishes and glasses are removed before the entree is served. Very nice experience overall.
We ate here twice this week. First time on Monday, we sat inside. Waitress was very attentive. Ambiance was good. Yesterday we sat outside. Much better with fresh air, light and view. Again waiter was very attentive. Our only complaint is that the portions were too large. Should be slightly smaller as we are traveling and cannot take left overs home. We had fish/chips, ahi tuna, steak, and meat loaf. All were delicious.

Our dinner was delicious and the bottle of wine at half price was WONDERFUL. The staff are always so cheerful and helpful. Last night's ambiance was VERY NOISY but a party of 6 nearby with loud voices...no fault of Marketplace Tavern. We love coming there.

Always a good choice. We had a great dinner there. Highly recommend the Tuna entree! We also enjoyed the fish and chips and the fish tacos. We tried the nachos for the first time - we really liked them. And the half price wine special was a nice plus. Our server was very helpful and attentive and the space is great!

It is always nice sitting outside here. My tuna was a generous portion, cooked rare, but was a bit tough. Not soft like good rare tuna. My friends salmon was “ boring”. I hate when my salad or appetizer comes out 1 minute before my entree. Waitress was lovely. Felt that for the price, the meal wasn't worth it.
