I just picked up our two Caesar Salads and brought back to our home as my wife was tired. Why would you buy them from some haute Cuisine place like the West Street Grill? Well, they are simply the best cuisine in Litchfield - even for a simple take out salad. Very nicely prepared with Parmesan in its own container and a rich Caesar dressing as well.While I was waiting I looked around at the people dining in a very relaxed atmosphere with nice Jazz music playing. I thought that we should have come here for dinner instead (as we have many times before) and had a treat dining out. You won't regret your visit here.
Way past its “best by” date. Surprised to see it still open, I stopped in for dinner only to be reminded why I gave up on the place years ago. The maitre de (who I think was owner James O’Shea) remains incredibly rude. Asked my guest to remove her hat and questioned why we arrived in a truck. Some people still like that vibe, but I’ll pass , forever.

We love this restaurant and the owner, James, is great! They have incredible food! Especially their corned beef (Reuben) sandwich! We came here twice to enjoy it since it is only on the menu during St. Patrick's day. Their peasant bread, burrata and desserts (Limoncello & cheesecake) are awesome as well! We look forward to returning!

We stopped in today after horseback riding i. Litchfield. Cute restaurant, with great service and hot, fresh, tasty food. I ordered cauliflower tempura. My friend ordered fish and chips. We both enjoyed it.

Tired, depressing place. Very sullen waiter. Overpriced for the quality. $23 martini? For $100 per person a tablecloth on the formica table would have been nice. We went there because of the great ratings--CT Magazine best lunch. Maybe lunch is good, dinner was an expensive unpleasant experience. Expected much better.Kid-friendliness: Oh yes, and a screaming kid.

I had lunch Cheeseburger and my niece had the portobello mushroom burger. Both were very good! Service was great! I was always intimidated by the West Street Grill for some reason but it was very good, reasonably priced and looked to hve a good dinner menu.
