The pasta with mushrooms wasn't anything special, just ok. All the other dishes were very good.

We loved this restaurant for the ambiance and decor but this factor still can't make up for the food shortfall. Grilled chicken had zero flavor which showed no brining prep was done and the grilled chicken breast was super dry that I choked and bit. The salad was saturated with dressing. More is not better sometimes. I should have asked the dressing on the side to begin with. It is a shame that such a beautiful restaurant offers terrible food. And the pricing for the food not really forgiving. It will be a longer before I will even return.

The cheese plate was pathetic. Chunks of cheap orange wedges and some tasteless wedges of unknown origin. No quality cheese or local fare. The crab cake was an improvement and the house salad had a nice presentation than the cheese plate. Our waitress was MIA throughout. Super friendly when it was time to pay the check, then gone again. Had to stand at the register because 10 minutes is way too long to sit with the check. Will not go again.

Annmarie was such a sweet and prompt waitress!! We love the Vyne, my only critique about the new menu is that our filet mignon came with barbecue sauce which I actually am not a fan of, they used to ask us what sauce we wanted with our steak which I recommend going back to! Will definitely be back :)

I recently dined at The Vine Restaurant in Middlebury, and it completely exceeded my expectations. The vibe and décor were outstanding — it felt like a stylish Manhattan restaurant transported right into the heart of Connecticut. The atmosphere was warm and energetic, the staff friendly and attentive, and the food absolutely exceptional. From the beautiful patio terrace to the elegant interior, every detail was tastefully done. You’d never guess you were in the middle of Middlebury — a true hidden gem!

A Must-Visit Gem in CT! From the moment I walked in I felt the vibrant energy of this place. Atmosphere was buzzing in the best possible way.... welcoming and full of life. Service was attentive but not overbearing and genuinely warm. The BRICK CHICKEN was outstanding and my favorite. But I had to come back and try the DIVER SCALLOPS which were flavored and cooked to perfection. Can't wait to come back and explore more of their new menu.
