Best Italian Deli around. Anna puts her heart and soul in cooking her food. Authentic Italian cuisine. Love her videos on Facebook. She made us a great Italian Christmas Dinner. And she don't skip on making the grinders. She packs the meat and cheese and condiments in the grinders. You won't be hungry. And you be greeted a when you visit. Nice little Italian Deli.

The best Italian deli around. I ordered for Thansgiving an antipasto for our dinner table and it was delicious. The platter had every Italian vegetable you would want. Great job my family would order it again.Parking: Parking both in front and back.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs

Heard all the hype about this place for over a year. I work in the trades and have been all over CT and have eaten at MANY Italian deli's. The food is mediocre at best. Hot sandwiches are microwaved, which ruins the sandwich. I gave this place 2 chances and ordered 2 different sandwiches each time and was left disappointed each time. 100% not worth the giant price tag attached to each sandwich.The last time I was there, I placed my order, and a few min later 2 women came in, placed an order to go, decided to stay, and their food came out, they ate half of it before they women even started to make my 2 sandwiches.

This is the best deli hand down. Literally everything is handmade, not half can or frozen. I always get a few meals for dinner heat in microwave and it’s as fresh as could be. The owner is always behind the counter cooking, the employees are friendly and helpful when asking about certain dishes. If your in the area stop by and see for yourself.

this italian deli is amazing! food is fresh and homemade. I especially love their soups. The sandwiches are over stuffed and their daily dinner specials are excellent! Always smells so good to walk in there. I live 30 minutes away but try to stop in at least once a week. I keep an eye on their daily posted specials on Facebook.
La Strega catered my back yard wedding 1 month ago. Everything was outstanding! The food was delicious, Anna knows what she is doing in the kitchen! The staff was helpful, courteous and kind. Set up/clean up was smooth. I would highly recommend La Strega to cater your event or stop by the deli for a meal!

The soups were good the dinners were awful, they didn’t tell me the rolitini had ham in it & they put a lot of oregano on top, the meatloaf dinner had this orange gravy on it awful taste in your mouth!

I pass by this deli often and it can be quite easy to miss. You know what doesn't miss? Everything else. The greeting from lovely Italian women feels so homey and authentic walking in. The place is decorated lovely and it's small but roomy. I ordered the Pufferson Special which was recommended to me and by goodness it didn't disappoint! It has Prosciutto, Breaded chicken, pickles, broccoli rave and right on this perfectly crafted roll! It was an Italian dream in a sandwich and I couldn't get enough of it. Shout-out Chris Berry and Leanza Santana, love them!
