We visited Middlebury's greatest ice cream while we made a stop in Middlebury, Connecticut. Despite being a small store, they are able to produce a wide variety of flavors. We were served by a really nice young girl. The ice cream tastes great. Worth the stop, it is situated in a little strip center.

My sister (non-vegan) got the red velvet regular ice cream, which she enjoyed. But the vegan options are mix in flavorings to non-dairy vanilla ice cream. The actual non dairy ice cream had a gritty texture??? The staff was very kind, patient and explained everything in detail. The actual ice cream I wasn't a fan of.... the nondairy ice cream sandwiches are okay (kind of tastes like a sugar free vanilla oreo sandwich).
Only would recommend if you aren't vegan to try the regular options...

I love this place! They are open for lunchtime till 9pm so I can get my smoothie or sweet treat during lunch or after work!! I brought my daughter in with me a few times. And the staff were patient and helpful with helping us decide what would be the best combination of toppings with our ice creams! They even give us samples of each so we could really choose the best choice! I even have a new favorite base for my Frozen Money smoothie now! Triple chocolate frozen yogurt ?.I got a cake here too! I have a friend with a gluten allergy and they helped me make the PERFECT cake for her! She loved it!They always have pre-made treats too! So I can swing by before any event I'm going too and bring the best desserts to it.So now I know why they are called Middleburys BESTBest serviceBest pricesBest treats!!!!!!

This was my favorite ice cream spot until yesterday around 7 pm or so. Me and my son both ordered a medium soft serve ice cream , no toppings or cone. The girl charged us for a large $5.99 each. I repeated to her that we only ordered mediums and she still made me pay for 2 larges! If I was alone I would’ve left the ice cream and walked out. But my child was so excited I couldn’t. & Because of that employee who overcharged me for my order purposely, I won’t be going back.If I only order a medium why am I being charged for a large? Just terrible! I’ll bringing my money elsewhere.
