we loved Aroogas. Last couple of times we went there it has been closed and parking lot blocked off. I read an article that the Mohegans closed and is turning into a health clinic.

Sad to leave this review since my meal was fine, but my husband received wings that had absolutely no extra sauce (that I paid extra for) or ranch included in our order. When he went back, the team explained that they bake the wings in the sauce and that is why they look dry and like they have no sauce. Well I ordered extra sauce on mine and they came out juicy and clearly sitting in sauce. When he asked to speak to a manager, the cook came out and gave him sauce and his original wings back. Even though they are closing, this should have been handled better...possibly without excuses.

I write this review knowing their last day is this Saturday. My family and I have really enjoyed this place. Between the great tap list, happy hour deals and meat lover vs. Vegetarian options, anyone can find something to enjoy there. We are very sad to see this place go. We will miss it for sure! We'll never find a place with pepper jack cubes and the best honey mustard sauce around ever again. I hate sports bars, but I really loved this one <3

We love Arooga's bc there are so many different options of food and drinks to choose from. There's always something for everyone, staff is friendly and definitely a kids favorite! Definitely try the ice cream cookie!

I had high hopes for this place but my husband and I were disappointed. While my flatbread was tasty, my husband's salad was kind of gross, it looked like they just threw it together with some dry broken up chicken on top. I wasn't even sure it WAS chicken when it arrived. Most of the waitresses seemed like they didn't care. Tables needed to be bussed. The hostess was eating at the front desk. Absolutely no professionalism. And it was a bit over priced. Definitely not going back there.

Great service and fresh and unique luncheon offerings. Our server was attentive and helpful and our meals came out quickly and cooked to order. Looking forward to heading back soon! The Waygou Burger was awesome as were the salad and wings that the rest of our party offered.

Amazing food, the jumbo pretzel was the best pretzel we have ever had! Coming from a New Yorker we fell in love with everything. Environment and staff are great as well!! Highly recommend

My boyfriend and I came in on a Saturday night around 1030. The staffers super friendly and sat us promptly and with a smile, even after I asked for an outdoor table with a fireplace while they were working on shutting it down. The bar tender who was also our server was extremely sweet, helping me figure out what kind of drink I would like. 2 or 3 other girls also came out to make sure we were all set and didn't need anything. The food came out fast and was excellent. Will definitely return and hope that I have these servers.

I have never had a bad meal at Arooga's, the food is phenomenal and they have such a huge selection of food. I always get so stumped as to what to order because there is just so many options. The only reason I wouldn't rate it 5 stars is because the food does take quite some time to be made even though it is relatively simple meals. It is really nice to sit outside at the tables with the fire pit built into the middle of the table on a nice day or night!
Lousy service, messed up my order, and the wings gave me food poisoning. Told the waitress they weren't good, she laughed and said “Oh no they're the best†- Won't be returning

The quality of this place went down fast since it opened. Food and service. Most recently we found hair in our food which they didn't even bother to comp and I sat and waited for food 10 mins after other food had been brought out. Then I sat and waited for utensils that never came. There are much better places to go besides here. Not to mention they want to charge you more just to do two different sauces?? Give me a break. Don't waste your money, somewhere like the Recovery Room in New London has much much better food and service.

Ordered wings from web site. Wings were ready when advertised and were delicious. Take out staff was friendly. Not the cheapest $ but I thought it was a good value for the great food. Recommend.
