We went there before a concert. Got seated pretty quickly. Ordered soda and a pretzel. The pretzel came out pretty fast, but he forgot the sodas. After i asked him for our soda, we ordered our food. About 20 or so minutes the waiter came back a was trying to cash us out. We didn't even have our food yet. He never came back to check our soda or anything. I finally grab him and ask to speak to his manager. Well he never told the manager to come over so again i had to grab the manager. As i was speaking to him and telling him our experience he said let me talk it over with the sever and see what he can do. He ended up taking off the pretzel and soda off the check. But as i payed i didn't tip and he gave us an attitude. I will never go back. Terrible service

Requested standard table and upon arrival we were brought to hightop . Being handicap not an option . Then they brought us to an oddly placed table and was told when it gets busy they take it away . At this point I was frustrated! Then proceeded to tell us 90 minute limit . Which is explained on web site any res. Before 8 has a 90 minute limit, which is why i specifically requested a reservation at eight. I was there to see a band that was playing till 1130 so I had no intentions of leaving.. .. the waitress we were assigned that night saved at the night. She was very attentive. She was good. She was courteous if all restaurants could have waitresses like that they'll never be a problem..

Great experience at Comix. Waitress was terrific and when our waitress was busy other waitresses walking by asked if we needed anything. The way it should be. Work together to make the experience better for the customer. I'm happy the filet was put back on the menu. Filet was cooked to perfection. Great job Comix

The food was bad. The deep-fried empanadas were soaked in oil and dry as paper. The dipping sauce tasted like Cheez Whiz that had expired. The salad dressing was flavorless and the cornbread lacked moisture and was too sweet. I will not return.

Come experience Texas in Connecticut! You’ll find a lively atmosphere with bull riding, a huge bar, live music, and dancers. And don’t forget the delicious Tex-Mex food! The restaurant is spacious and has plenty of seating. It can get a bit crowded in the evening, but the vibe is still cool.

Ended up here just walking by and saw the mechanical bull. Few of us in the group did that for $10 and stayed for a few drinks. They had a live band going since it was Friday too so created a fun environment!

Sat down right away upon arriving for reservation. Waitress immediately asked what we wanted to order as we sat. Would have been nice to sit for a second and see the menu before being asked what we wanted as it was our first time there. Then it was about 15 minutes before she came back to take our order because we were not ready as we sat. Drinks and food came out quick and were tasty. We asked for the bill and it came fast. We then tried to flag down our waitress for over 20 minutes to pay the bill. Several other workers came by the table and just pointed us in the direction of our waitress telling us they couldn't process the payment. Then a gentleman who works there came to process our payment and asked us to verify who our waitress was. Was handed the handheld to sign our names for our cards and was not offered any condolences for the wait.

Good food, atmosphere and reasonably priced. Be very specific and detailed though if you have allergies. Placed dessert take out order and listed allergies on the vegan, gf option and still had the dairy topping on it.

Around $60 for dinner. Short rib which was told it was the best thing on the menu. Upon ordering it was $34 and about 5 ounces. Wasn't terrible but definitely was not $34 worth. The “bbq” chicken tenders were plain chicken tenders with a side of bbq sauce. Also only about 5 very small tenders. Extremely disappointing with how much of a rip off the place is.
