unfriendly faces serving old, cold coffee. didn’t get my change back after paying with cash. behind the counter looked absolutely disgusting. employees always glued to their phones, you might wanna work on who you have in the front of the store, it looks super trashy. don’t come here. don’t waste your time or money

What of the best Starbucks I have been to. Was in town on business and went to this location every morning. Quality of food and service was consistently high.

I recently had a terrible experience at this Starbucks. After visiting the Starbucks in East Lyme, where I saw tumblers and cups on sale, I was in a hurry and couldn’t make the purchase at the time. I assumed I could get the same deal at the Montville location since both are Starbucks inside Stop & Shop stores.

When I arrived at the Montville location, I saw a rack of tumblers and cups with sale signs on them, so I expected the same promotion. However, when I went to check out, the cashier, Caitlyn, told me she had no idea about any sale. Thankfully, another barista kindly explained that the supervisor hadn’t updated the prices in the system or labeled the new sale prices. I was told it would probably be fixed by the end of the day. I left, assuming they’d resolve the issue or remove the signs.

The next day, I returned to check if the prices had been updated. Caitlyn was the only one working behind the counter, and when I pointed out that the sale signs were still there with the same prices, she responded with a terrible attitude, saying: “I don’t know why, it’s not my job.” I was shocked! As the cashier, it is indeed her job to help customers with price discrepancies. Her response showed either a lack of training or a complete disregard for her role. To make matters worse, she didn’t even bother notifying a manager about the issue.

After I requested to speak to a manager, Caitlyn brought over another lady to check the computer. I was hopeful this would lead to an explanation, but instead, both of them stood behind the counter, laughing and chatting with no intention of addressing the problem. At that point, I was done. It felt more like a scam, attracting customers with sale signs when nothing was actually on sale.

This experience was beyond frustrating, and the unprofessional behavior of the staff, particularly Caitlyn, was appalling. I won’t be returning to this Starbucks, and I advise others to stay away as well.

I never leave reviews but just have to say that Jayden is so great! Super friendly, patient, and very helpful with explaining things.

Went to Starbucks in Uncasville CT. With Stop & Shop 11/29. We were not sure what we wanted. Still looking. So the nasty lady that was working there. She could not be bothered with us. She had a pierced nose. I asked her what she would suggest for a Christmas coffee. She just stood there and did not answer us. I said forget it. I told my husband I would not want her to make me a coffee at all. This worthless lady needs to find another job. I have been to this star bucks before and the staff was niceNever saw this worthless lady before. She needs to find another job. Maybe cleaning toilets at a prison.

Best coffee in town

Afwul!! They aren't a real Starbucks. They don't accept rewards. Always takes FOREVER to complete an order. Always a bad experience here. Don't waist your time.

Absolutely love the crew here! Excellent customer service and always have my coffee ready for me (made perfectly every time btw) or start making it as soon as I come up to the counter in the morning and always Served with a smile!!

Starbucks located inside stop& shop was very quick to get me. My latte was very helpful. Even though one of their machines was broken, they were able to make me my drink

Terrible experience, the espresso machine was broken so I was only able to get a coffee and she still charged me for a latte.

Just a regular Starbucks nothing notable.

This used to be one of the best stores in the area but after stop and shop transferred the old lead person and brought in the new one it’s gone down hill. All the good staff has left or is leaving and the new lady in charge of the area never even smiles.

Way to expensive, and soon they are saying we'll need to bring our own reusable cups REALLY!!!! NO THANK YOU STARBUCKS.
