My wife and I stayed for a weekend in the camping cottage and had a wonderful experience. As a Litchfield County native, I had heard great things through the years and it did not disappoint. The grounds are beautiful, the spa was fantastic and the cottage itself was very cool and unique. Make sure you take advantage of the breakfast during your stay, as it is not to be missed.

It is quite beautiful destination with unique architecture lodges. Welcoming and friendly personal. Steam shower and hot tub in the room. Bicycles.Turn down. We had delicious breakfast in our music lodge. Got picked up from our lodge in the air conditioned car to go to dinner. (Prefix menu). Spa or relax by the pool. Only problem bad cell phone service and week WiFi.

I can’t say enough about Winvian! We were able to stay at Beaver Lodge which was so quiet, and peaceful. The screened in porch was our favorite place to sit and enjoy the view of the beautiful forest surrounding us. The staff took care of our every need and made us feel special. Erin at the front desk was very welcoming from the moment we booked our stay to the day we arrived. Everyone we met; Jack, Rachel , Lauren, Cristina, Simone, and of Course Erin was not only professional but warm and friendly as they worked hard to provide for our needs. I can highly recommend Winvian and am grateful for our time at The Beaver Lodge.
Rooms: The Lodge we stayed in was very clean, comfortable and so unique.
Walkability: We could walk to see the other themed cottages and cabins at Winvian.

It's most definitely a high-end resort, but you're not made to feel anything but welcomed and at home. They made this very special birthday celebration a lifetime memory, and we are so very grateful for their efforts.Rooms: We stayed in the helicopter cottage and can't explain how unique an experience it was! The steam shower!! Oh my goodness the steam shower! And the views!! I can only image how stunning it must be in the spring and fall!Food & drinks: Gourmet dining at its finest with a great wine list to match!!Noteworthy details: Spotless property with high attention to customer service and satisfaction. Quiet... cozy... perfect.
