People have said that you feel like family in this little breakfast joint, and they're not lying! I was traveling from my house in Middletown to Fairfield and was looking for breakfast on the way, this place popped up and I'm so glad it did! One of the towns people greeted me and my mom outside the front door and told us a little history on the place. I ordered short stack of pancakes and my mom got eggs with sides. Both were absolutely delicious!! Her home fries were perfectly seasoned and my pancake was light and fluffy just the way I like it! Bill the owner is definitely loved by his customers and I could tell that as young and old customers strolled in saying hello to him. We definitely will be coming back.

Fresh made breakfast at a great price. Staff is friendly and atmosphere is pleasant. Fresh made muffins everyday are amazing!

This is the best hole in the walll place I ever been too! I get such a homie vibe when I walk in and the staff was very nice and great. Customer service was amazing the staff had so many regulars return back and they know their orders by heart. You don't even need to say a word and they will already know your order. Steve (sorry I think his name is Steve) the guy on the grill is killing it. Dude is a precision machine of aerodynamics and he can cook! I got the two eggs with toast, hash and bacon and OHH MY GOD BRUH MY BALLS DROPPED. THIS WAS SOME HEARTY SOUTHERN COOKING IN FREAKING NY?! I'm from Texas and they don't even have some breakfast spots like this! Overall check this place out it is amazing!

It's been a year since we have eaten here as we are traveling fulltime in our RV. We have eaten breakfast in lots of places but Burnsies is still the best food, the best value, and the best staff. Can't wait to come back next time we are in town. Ruthie si glad to see your are still at it.

Best breakfast in Naugatuck! It's a small little hole in the wall place filled with locals. The food is delicious. The service is quick and friendly. And the prices are extremely reasonable!! This is my go-to breakfast spot. They're also open for lunch so I'm looking forward to trying that out one day.

A little challenging to find - Yelp calls this Burnsies, but the outside only says "Coffee Shop". This was one of the very few times Yelpers have let me down. I am lost as to how this place has five stars. The eggs were not good. The potatoes were okay, but I have never met a potato I didn't like (I may have a problem there), and the French toast was likely the worst I have had anywhere, anytime. Couldn't taste vanilla, cinnamon, or spices of any kind. The "Maple Syrup" on the my table was equally as bad as it tasted like half water, half syrup - no flavor. The small town diner thing where everyone knows each other, and nothing has changed inside in 30 years can only get you so far - the flavors have to be there and they were blatantly missing last Tuesday morning in Naugatuck. If you are a foodie, you will likely be very disappointed.

You can call breakfast ahead and pick up on your way to UConn. It's a time warp, like the vintage feel.

Best greasy spoon in the state. Quick. Cheap. On point. Same thing every time. Coffee is always full.

Burnsies is a hidden gem in Naugatuck, it's the kind of diner you look for in a town. It's a place the locals go, the regulars know your name as does the staff. Food is exactly what you want, fresh, good, fast and inexpensive. Without any reference you could easily imagine sitting there in the 60's and 70's and it would probably look and smell the same. Prices are very fair. I highly recommend the home fries, reminds me of the home fries I had in my youth at the long gone Teds Spa in Seymour. The coffee is exactly as good as you would expect and the cup is always filled. Burnsies is very small so if you plan on going Sunday morning try to go early an

I have been going to Burnsies for years, and have reviewed over and over so as to give the new customers a fresh perspective. One thing I have to say is that the lunch crew (Donna and Bree) are extremely professional. They get along so well. Kind of like a mother and daughter; and peanut butter and jelly. They both seem to genuinely care about you as a customer. It makes me rave about Burnsies all the more. I think Naugatuck is lucky to have a business like this in their community, and also lucky to have such a good staff.
