I used to love coming here…until a series of events happened…One they discontinued my favorite ice cream…Two they almost tripped the price on many items and Three tonight I had to deal with someone over the phone…who was RUDE! …and out of patience…Maybe you need a day off whoever you are…plus my food was not fresh! Fries should never be given to a customer in that shape. Between doing way with my favorite item…over pricing the food….and bad attitudes…I’m all set…It’s no longer a surprise why these places are closing. Side note I went back in here tonight because my bf wanted to go…I was asked to leave by the manager for my review! I thought maybe I had written something horrible…but this was a true review! Other than me being really pissed off because the woman was VERY rude to me on the phone….who now identified herself as the general manager and saying they sounded old and used there is NOtHING in anyway bad or untrue. My fries were actually put in the bag with my ice cream so when my friend got home and put it in the freezer we didn’t know it was in there but asking me to leave because I wrote a bad review…I used to drink lol and thought maybe I wrote something terrible…but it’s not…and my experience was true to form!

As a person who grew up in Springfield,MA Friendly’s always brings back childhood memories. It’s great to see Friendly’s making its way to lower Connecticut. Friendly’s has iconic ice cream the sundaes and milkshakes put DQ and others to shame. If you’re looking for a family friendly place to go, Friendly’s is where it’s at. The service here was great can’t complain.

i came to redeem a reward and there was an issue with it going through. i asked for the manager and the one that came out was Owen. he didn’t speak to us nor try to help fix the problem. when i asked the workers at the front if he would be coming back since he left without engaging they said he refused to come back and to talk to the general manager. when i inquired about the general managers number the he had the fountain workers give me the number to the same store i was sitting in. his demeanor was disrespectful as he refused to communicate with customers. 0/10 customer service. do better friendly’s
