Garlic is one of those places I had went by so many times and wondered what it was like! I’m glad we visited because now we know how delicious all of their food is! I was seriously so impressed that Naugatuck has a spot that offers so many fantastic Latin dishes. Everything was so flavorful and fresh. I especially loved the stuffed potato balls, Colombian empanadas, nachos, and cheese arepa. Plenty of seating and the dining room is so cute! The food all came out hot and made to order, and the staff was so friendly and welcoming. Extremely reasonable prices too. We’ll be back!

Everyone is soooo nice, the environment is calm, comfortable and pleasant. Today we went for lunch and my bf had the steak burrito, I had bandeja paisa and we got the guacamole and chips to share (pics attached) . Everything was delicious.

I was initially hesitant to write this review, wanting to maintain optimism. However, today's experience left me dissatisfied. My usual stop for fried pork pieces has been disappointing, and their empanadas, in my opinion, are subpar; they often taste and appear burnt and are overpriced.Today, I ordered a small serving of white rice, and once again, there was no fried pork. Despite my reminder about this recurring issue, the staff member didn't acknowledge it or offer reassurance. I even inquired about the size of the rice before ordering, as I would have opted for the larger portion.Upon receiving my order, I discovered a dead fruit fly inside the rice. This was extremely off-putting, and I discarded the rice immediately. Additionally, the amount of rice in the small aluminum pan was minimal, barely touching the rim. This reflects not only a stingy approach to serving customers but also a lack of cleanliness.I will not be returning to this establishment. The Spanish lady owner's rude attitude, paired with the overpriced and underwhelming portions, is unacceptable.

Highly recommend you try this place out ! I got a Philly cheese steak grinder with everything on it & it was delicious.. Update: I'm here again and this time we went with the steak tacos & a chicken empanada. Both delicious and full of flavor. Had tres leches for dessert & it's a must have

Asked to PLEASE layer the cheese on the nachos because the wife will NOT eat it if you just melt the cheese just on the top.Paid extra money and tipped and was assured that this was no problem.Thanks, she ate the top and I threw the rest in the garbage.Never again

My family & I simply LOVE the Garlic Restaurant. Their tostones are to die for...sooo delicious...highly recommended!! In fact, everything they serve is totally amazing! The atmosphere is great & very accommodating & so is the service. The owner is very personable & sweet! I highly recommend this place to anybody & everybody. You will LOVE it like my family & I do.Vegetarian options: They will accommodate vegetarians as much as they can.
