Tried other places that were supposedly comparable , but nothing beats the incredibly fresh ingredients , the consistently delicious taste , the exceptional customer service , and the quirky , roomy , and clean atmosphere inside the store . Price is absolutely worth the product they deliver . I'm very fussy and particular when it comes to eating out , and I'm not even a huge fried chicken lover . But Birdcode has easily become my favorite place to eat every week !! Don't sleep on their comeback sauce either , this stuff is the absolute best and my only complaint is that they don't sell bottles of it !

Ordered my lunch through their app and the food was not delivered. Doordash was extremely rude and not helpful. I called the New Britain store and the Manager Jenna was Phenomenal! Her and her team were ABSOLUTLEY AMAZING! She is an amazing leader. Her team was so welcoming and helpful. She made an extremely frustrating situation, so much better. She resolved the issue and made sure my food was delivered appropriately. THANK YOU Jenna from the bottom of my belly! It's so hard to find nice, helpful people these days. Keep being kind!

First time for us to eat at Birdcode and it did not disappoint. We received a full explanation at the counter when we went to order. Everything is customizable and I ended up getting the medium spice level for my tenders, while my son got the mild spice level for his sandwich. Both were spot on for us. The medium was right on the line of being hot and still enjoyable and if I went hotter it probably would've pushed it over the limit. You can order single tenders which is cool and I might order one in their Code Breaker spice level next time to see what it is like. Shake fries are great and they were cooked perfectly. Shake mac & cheese was also great. We both got vanilla milkshakes as well. The Sando is a great sandwich with tons of flavor. The guy that working there came over to talk to us and gave us the history of the place and was a great conversation. Very nice guy. Made it very enjoyable. Would absolutely go back.

Do NOT go to BIRDCODE if you want good chicken. For nearly $20 you’ll receive a 3 pc combo that will contain rubbery chicken, a piece of bread from the loaf in the back, and a small portion of fries with seasoning just to give this bland meal some type of flavor. The food is severely overpriced for the quality you get. Please do yourself a favor and don’t come here unless you’re ready to waste money on food you’ll never want again, or if you want thoroughly cooked chicken that’s not rubber. It was terrible and quite frankly gross resulting in a ruined appetite. After the manger begged and pleaded for us to not make a negative review that could possibly ruin business in her establishment, i was given a 25$ gift card that I don’t even intend on using due to how bad my first experience was.

I had high expectations for Bird Code considering all of the positive reviews I’ve been seeing. My best friend and I decided to give the New Britain location a try. However we were severely let down after our first bite.The chicken that I recieved was overcooked and had a rubbery breading. The chicken that my best friend recieved was undercooked and rubbery. I have the picture to prove this. Overall the chicken that we tried was just simply subpar. The staff refunded us for our meals on gift cards and gave us two free deserts for our first time being such a bad experience. If you’re looking for good chicken in Connecticut go to Raising Canes not here.

My Order # is 1UW74A I was really disappointed with my order. The chicken was overly oily and clearly burnt, which ruined the flavor. The bun was also toasted way too much. The vinegar slaw both looked and tasted bad — soggy, overly sour, and not fresh. Overall, the quality was far below expectations and I wouldn’t order again. Waste of money and time.

Him and his distribution manager offered me a sample! I was delighted to try and hear how Birdcode began. Humble beginnings perfecting the family recipe. Amazing chicken!
