Burrito Loko & Mofongo Express

I ordered from the menu, no added items, then at the register I saw i was charged $2 extra for the chicken that was listed in the bowl description. When I pointed it out, the guy acted like he did
not understand, and when I read the menu to him, he said, "I just pushed the buttons on the register. I can't do anything about it." I won't go again, even though the food was decent.

I came here to grab a quick lunch and really wanted their vegetable medley (roasted zucchini, caramelized onion, mushrooms, bell peppers in chimichurri). When I walked in and requested it, the man at the register just nodded and featured at the other end of the line, saying to pick my rices. I selected my rice, beans, etc - I was a bit surprised because I thought it was a set entree but figured they allow you to customize it before throwing the listed items on top. I repeated twice that I specifically wanted the medley with the zucchini and mushrooms. Him and the other man who began making my bowl just nodded and asked me to pick what else I wanted. I asked if guac was extra with the meal and the guy said they wouldn't charge me for it. I thought they were being nice since I clearly hadn't been there before but then they started closing up my bowl and I asked if the zucchini, mushroom, caramelized onion was all going to be on the side? They then told me they were all out of it. I told them I didn't order a custom bowl, I specifically wanted the vegetable medley. I work at a Mexican restaurant that serves basically the same thing as their vegetarian build your own so I wouldn't spend money on it unless it had stuff I wanted like the items I repeated! They just kept saying oh well we won't charge you for guacamole. I still felt too bad to let the food go to waste but I told them they should tell people when they're out of something rather than just guide them to a bowl and make it an awkward experience where a customer is given something they didn't ask for. Based on the prior reviews (especially the takeout) this is something this business does regularly. The food was okay (chopped tomatoes seemed a bit unevenly portioned) but the whole experience was feeling tricked into getting something I didn't want. The free guac just wasn't enough to compensate for that since I would've been fine not getting any guac if it meant I received what I ordered. I hope they are more upfront with their future customers.

Placed a order a few days ago and they got it wrong tried again today and not only did they get it wrong they for got to put meat on my bowl like what did I just pay for a bowl of rice with sauces?

The prices posted for burrito loco are not the prices charged when you arrive. I requested a burrito bowl from burrito loco with grilled shrimp but was charged the prices for a bowl from mofongo which is a $10 price difference. The response was next time we’ll honor the price but we gave you shrimp from mofongo so that’s the price difference although I order burrito loco and received all the toppings of a burrito bowl.

Not impressed. Got a doordash from this place. The ordering was so confusing, the entire time I thought I was getting a mofongo with a side of beans. Instead, a rice bowl was delivered. Nobody called me to let me know and I still don't know if they ran out of plantains or if they don't have actual mofongo on the menu.I also got an empanada and the dough tasted extremely unfresh. It had a bad taste.The meat in the "mofongo" rice bowl was very dry. Meh.I don't recommend this place.EDIT*** 20 HOURS LATER I GOT TERRIBLE DIGESTIVE ISSUES AND I AM CONFIDENT THAT THIS FOOD GAVE ME SOME KIND OF BUG!
