Service was horrible,The only time someone came to our table was after we received our food & to ask if we needed coffee. I travel a lot looking for different breakfast spots to try out and CJ's is one place that I will not go back to.

Honestly, I was there about 3 years ago and food was excellent but service was bad, because no coffee refills....Fast forward to yesterday....MUCH improved ?. Had 4 refills on coffee, bacon was cooked ON POINT, well done just as I like. Home fries were nice and tender too. Service excellent. I enjoy stopping there when my car is being worked on across the street. I no longer live in Central part of CT but my when car needs repairs, I will return to CJ s for a bite to eat!

Great staff and food. My only complaint is that after I paid, and checked my receipt, the price I was charged was fifty cents higher than was on the menu. It's not a big deal, but it's why I can't give five stars.

This is an absolutely fantastic little hole in the wall local eatery. It has tons of seating and parking so it's really worth your time to check it out! The menu is huge, with lots of unique fun things like PB&J pancakes and bacon, egg, & cheese on french toast, which I ordered! The food was excellent, especially the home fries. And the service was quick and efficient. I really do recommend a visit if you're in the area.

My dad goes to CJ’s every Saturday for Breakfast bright and early. He’s always awake super early do this place is his go to for early morning breakfast. Sam & Al have been running this place for forever. The service is quick and friendly and the food is fresh and made fast. Sam has a “Hiya honey” or “Good morning sunshine” To all the regulars that walk in the door each week. It’s reminiscent of all those dinners back in the day. Hot coffee is made consistently the entire time you’re there. Pancakes and bacon were fantastic . So good we had to get some to go as well. In the New Britain area CJs is the go to spot for breakfast.

The home fries were hard and tasted old like they were made days ago and reheated. The eggs tasted old like the veggies were pre cut days ago and cooked on a dirty grill. I’m not exaggerating. I cannot eat my meal and I’ll probably be charged for it. This place is proof some restaurants don’t taste the food they feed to customers. Very unfortunate.
