Capitol Lunch is a Connecticut classic. If you love hot dogs, Connecticut lore, or both, this is the place for you. I grew up making the trip to New Britain with my Pepere and my dad just to go to Capitol Lunch. They have local Rosol’s hot dogs and that kind of chili sauce you’ll try to recreate but never will be able to get just right.
💜Stopped in today for 2hotdogs with the works.Excellent as always.Been going to Capital Lunch for 58 years now.Back then 25cents bought you a hotdog.Excellent and extremely quick service.Ive having nothing but praise for the 2Brothers who run the business.They are Stand Up ,Friendly .It's always a pleasure to visit 👍
Still the best hotdogs on earth! If you're anywhere nearby & haven't eaten at Cappie's then you aren't an American! Great great great place, don't miss this one!
