Excellent authentic Getman food. Great atmosphere, especially since the wait-staff wear traditional German clothing.My only complaint is having to look for street parking since the restaurant's parking lot was full. I guess that is to be expected on a Saturday night at 6PM!

The atmosphere was electric. I visited to celebrate earning my pilot certificate, and it did not disappoint. Big, tasty beers, and hearty German food. The owners are wonderfully enthusiastic about their restaurant and the beer-hall vibes were cheerful and rowdy. There was a mixed crowd and everyone was enjoying it. The accordion player Walter is a class act and plays table to table and takes requests. Go here if you’re looking to celebrate anything with a group.

On the day of the day of The USA vs. Bayern Munich international friendly Soccer Match last Fall 2023. I was asked to arranged a pre game festival at the East Side. Perfect site and then travel to Rentschler Field. The owners accommodate every wish. Great parking. The Festive Heidelberg room filled with soccer fans. Barbara was a gem handling the menu selections and opened early just to take care of us, Thanks. Nick was on hand to help us get in the spirit with multiple German cold draft beer chants and songs. Schnitzel, Wursts, Warm Pretzel's, and FCB 3 USA 1!

Excellent food and experience. Everyone in our party had such a fun time at dinner and our food was great. We loved the giant pretzel, German coleslaw, schnitzel, sausages, potato pancakes, and the German chocolate cake is to die for! (Seriously. It’s fudegy layers of cake with lots of toasted coconut and whipped cream)Our party also loved chanting to get their huge 1 liter beers and can’t wait to come back to the shot flight and 5 liter friendship beer!Definitely an entertaining, unique, and tasty dining experience.
