Do NOT dine in. Not many people there and still slow service. I tipped 15% and the waiter was rude, like he expected more? He was talking to a waitress, kept pointing at our table. Food was generic yet premium price. Maybe Pick-Up is better but I won’t be coming back!!!

The best Chinese food I ever had, and the service was impeccable

I wanted to try this place and I ordered Beef with broccoli and it was the worst that I ever had. Little what it supposed to be beef. The beef or whatever they gave me was not cooked and had a lot of flour. Will never recommend this place.Go next door to Hunan Wok across from Stop and Shop.
The service and the food make this a must visit place for locals and travelers. I can't say enough good things about Great Taste.

Some of the better tasting Chinese food in New Britain. We have had takeout and dine in at this location. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. The food is good and stays warm even during takeout.

I have never been disappointed by absolutely anything that I or my friends have ordered at Great Taste. Having a white tablecloth Chinese restaurant is rare in these parts. And it's just such a lovely experience compared to take out on the couch. The staff is impeccable, as is the service. And why is their tea so good? Recent order was the Mount Fuji (I think that's what it's called) which had every protein available. My only disappointment was not being able to convince my friend to share the Peking duck. Well, that and we didn't get any crispy wonton strips and duck sauce to snack on.

The best Chinese food in Connecticut, with wonderful service, a friendly owner and great little touches like the hot towels at the end. I really love their cashew chicken, and they have some good tofu dishes for vegetarians. My dad used to go here with his best buddy after coaching basketball and they'd always get the spare ribs. The same wait staff have worked there for a very long time and they recognize return customers, which is really nice. Big tables are available for families and larger parties. A gem and a destination restaurant in New Britain!

Best place to eat Chinese food and my favorite place from now on .
I love their food but I did not realize they were closed Monday until we all got out of the car. Need a lit window sign.

Very rude on the phone, insisted of me ordering on what he preferred . Kept denying me of items that was clearly on the menu, stating that they don’t serve those.

Best Chinese food in the greater New Britain area. Not as excellent as they once were but still better than the majority of Asian fare

Food was very good. HOWEVER, The delivery driver was very rude. I specified to have the order left at my hotel room door and to knock. He called when he got to the hotel and said the food was at the front desk. I asked him to bring it to my room and he rudely said it's at the front desk and hung up. I asked the front desk if he was allowed to bring it up and they said yes. Might have to start looking at Uber Eats. I highly recommend this restaurant but NOT this driver.

I ordered take out . My order was 1 order of chicken wings, 2 pork egg rolls, boneless spare ribs dinner , and pork lo mein .Let me start of with the boneless spare ribs . These were so overcooked and thinly sliced that it gave off the texture of eating beef jerky. Also they had so much oil and sauce that it ruined the rice . Second were the wings . They charge $10 for an order of plain wings . You'd think they would be cooked properly and a decent size for this price. The wings had no seasoning. The only flavor it had was that they were fried in old oil . They also were overcooked. The size of these wings were like getting wings from lil Ceasars. I don't know what happened to this place ,but enough is enough. The last 3 visits kept getting worse with each time . I used to love eating here . I've spent a couple $100 on a date at this place but I'm done . If they are going to have the prices that they have ,they need to make sure the food coming out their kitchen is top notch .
