I had wanted to see a spot with my friends recently that was in Connecticut & one of them knew about this location! You have to check their instagram for their door code.. which I think is pretty unique.
Anyways, you step inside- IMMEDIATELY get the speakeasy vibe! It’s such a cute environment. I think the only complaint i have about it is it can be a BIT too dark to read the menus but everything else was great from their modern/gothic color scheme. It was comfortable seating too. Plenty of spots to sit whether it’s booth or table.
The drinks were amazing!! I have a slight aversion to alcohol but I didn’t even taste it in the first drink. It was so subtle but masterfully crafted. I loved it. Even tasting their other drinks was SO fun. You MUST try more than one drink if you come.
Food wasn’t perfect but OVERALL? Pretty good for a bar/environment with a major focus on drinks. I think they have a decent menu. Can be a bit pricey but I say try it!
The bartenders/waiters were pretty chill & made sure we had a good time. Definitely check this place out!

I came here to celebrate my birthday not expecting much. Agustin was the only person tending the bar, yet provided excellent service. My 4 friends (who also work in the industry) were unable to arrive until 15 minutes before last call. Agustin made sure that we did not feel rushed despite the fact that we were there well after close. Although the drinks were more expensive, they were very tasty and I doubt that you can find such unique cocktails anywhere else in New Britain.

We have visited about 4 times. The drinks and good, but pretty pricy. This last time we went the bartender took a while to get to us despite the bar being half full. When he did come by to give us the menu he didn’t say a single word, just looked upset to be there. He then went on to flirt with another customer for a while and did not came back to take our order so we ended up leaving. Honestly this place has a good vibe and so much potential but every time we have come here the service has gotten worse and worse.

1st time at this place. Arrived around 10p on a Friday. The place wasn’t crowded, just about 10 people. Ambiance is nice, cool concept. My cocktail was very good but unfortunately the service was horrible(super slow) & the server was rude when my husband saw him pouring the beer into the cup & told server he didn’t want dark beer. There was actually some back & forth about it. We wouldn’t come back to this place.
The atmosphere was great and all, and I ordered good food. I ordered the steak, calamari, shrimp, and tots and ate it with my friends. However, me and my friend got food poisoning with extreme bowel movements as well as puking. The aftermath was horrible!!! Also the steak was $33 for a flank piece, you can buy that at the dollar store. I was expecting a ribeye piece for that price. There is only one server there by the way.

Went here to celebrate one of my girl friend's birthday and the ambiance did not disappoint. Didn't quite know what to expect and reserved a table just in case. When we arrived, a reservation was honestly not needed, but the $50 required for the reservation was used towards the bill, so that was very helpful. Food was very delicious! And our waiter/bartender was very accommodating. Highly recommend this speakeasy!
