I think this food is great! The service is friendly! Nice and clean as well! Real authentic Jamaican food. Just because they do not speak patwa 24-7 doesn’t mean they aren’t real Jamaicans lol the owner was born and raised in Jamaica just an FYI. Also, If you want seafood you just have to call ahead before heading to the restaurant. Great job! Don’t let any negativity stop you guys!
Delicious ?.... I have been in the ? for 2 weeks and I just wanted some good food. I’d never been to this place but it was pretty close to UConn Health Center and they had aKee & salt fish which is a ?? breakfast dish(hard to find). So I called to make sure they still had it because it was after 2pm. First time at Jackie’s and it was AMAZING! One of the best Jamaican restaurants in CT. The customer service was a perfect example of what ALL restaurants should demonstrate. The food was hot and fresh, also done in a timely manner. The prices were also affordable. I would highly recommend them for anyone who’s looking for some great food with even better customer service.
