I didn't understand why this place was so empty on a Saturday evening. While waiting for the food, a group of 2 men came in and ate. Another woman picked up food to go. Simple soul food menu with everything cooked fresh and to order. I wanted to try everything. Decided on the hot honey chicken and waffles, catfish, yams and macaroni. The man taking my order was kind and patient. Food was good too! Well seasoned and not over done. Catchy name & clean establishment with decently priced yummy food

Coming from a cook and picky eater this place IS 5 STARS ALL ACROSS THE BOARD!!!!!! I have literally driven my niece crazy because I have been wanting to try this place out but could never catch them. Today I caught them and the owner let me know they open at 3 and let me tell u NOT ONLY WAS IT WORTH THE WAIT IT WAS AWSOME. Some of the best food I've had out. Our party got ribs that fell off the bone, lemon pepper chicken wings and bbq wings. All were delicious and the sides were great too! They were also very nice and we will definitely come back!Vegetarian options: They have a 4 sides option instead of a meat with two sides. Sides like cabbage, collard greens, sweet potatoes, etc

Absolutely fantastic food and service! We were driving through and found this place. Great southern-style home cooking. And we know, we just moved up here from NW Florida.My wife had the fried chicken, mac-n-cheese, and cabbage. She actually admitted that the fried chicken crust, is better than hers.I had the half rack of ribs, mac-n-cheese, and fries. Fall apart tender ribs, with a sweet tangy barbecue sauce. Baked mac-n-cheese, as God intended, and salty fresh cut fries. And fresh banana pudding for dessert. Delicious!He brought us out a few sauces to try too. The Hennessey sauce should be bottled and sold outright!We'll be back. Thanks for the awesome meal. It tasted like home!

Grabbed a quick lunch and it was very fulfilling!. If you enjoy a good Cognac their Henny Wings are a must! I enjoyed the candied yams they were enjoyable as much as the collards so they made a good side addition. I def will return since my bestie & I enjoyed informative convo with one of the owners and received the best recommendations. The only downside was that we didn't receive the side order of rice we paid for.. but honestly the owner was so pleasantly transparent about the fact their business is still working out issues since opening we didn't bother go back in to complain. I'll definitely return if I'm in the area & try some of the other menu items.

Slap yo mama good food! I stopped here cause of a review on YouTube by Daym Drops. The catfish is perfect! The sides (potato salad, collards, and Mac n cheese hit! Definitely coming back again! Lots of great food for a good price!
