Riley's Hot Dog & Burger Gourmet

I’m pretty bummed. Ordered 2 burgers. Normally this place is by far my favorite spot. For some reason the burger seemed steamed and no flavor or color. I feel like they used to have some char to the meat. Sadly burgers fell off and probably won’t order burgers from there again if that’s how they’re now made. Other than that, their dogs and all sides are a great.

Love their sauerkraut- it’s kinda sweet! Their Reuben dog is delicious packed with corned beef, cheese and kraut plus a great dog with snap! Next time I will take a photo! I didn’t this time because I couldn’t wait to dive in! Also their fries are worth every calorie. The chili cheese dog is also delicious- thankfully the chili isn’t hot and doesn’t have beans making it more of a meat sauce

I really enjoy this gem of a restaurant in New Britain! I have yet to have a hot dog that I didn't enjoy (and I'm working on my punch card to go through all of them!) I highly recommend this if you're in the area, but even if you aren't it's worth the drive.

The board said price was $4.50 for one hot dog and it said $7.50 for another and ended up paying $14.75 and they ask for a tip foh one dog was decent and the other wasn't good at all

Great selection of hot dogs and burgers. Fries are delicious. I recommend a menu item called salty balls. Which are seasoned small potatoes. Which are great.

There are a lot of places that promise the perfect hot dog, but Riley's really delivers. So many varieties and all excellent! For the purist, for the connoisseur, for the daring experimentalist, these folks cater to the whim and fancy of anyone who has dreamt of the perfect dog! Riley's passion for hot dogs is irresistibly delicious!

Coming from Main Street there is no street sign for Glen Street. A cute hot dog and burger joint. Seating inside and a few tables outside
Tried their hot dog with sauerkraut. I prefer a hot dog with skin as they serve, it is regular size, very good, disappointed that the roll is not toasted
They do not serve onion rings. The hand cut thin fries were terrible .... Burnt ... Used lots of ketchup!

My sister picked up several dogs with the famous meat sauce and brought them down here to Westerly Rhode Island, where I live now. ( I'm a NB native) She had them in an insulated bag so they stayed hot till she got here!! Nobody does hotdogs like Riley's!! And BTW Capital Lunch recipe is NOT what is was in the 1970's!! Don't waste your time going down there! Come to Riley's 😁

Tasty burgers and dogs with wide variety of toppings. Always like fresh cut fries. Also get the loaded salty balls too. Put mac and cheese on everything. Excellent drink selection as well. Would recommend as an elevated burgers/dogs spot.

1. Custom “Naked Hotdogs” with bacon sauerkraut and brown mustard.
2. Dirty Mac Dog

Service was friendly, you order at the front and they bring out your food. Would definitely come back and try the over a dozen different hot dogs and burgers.
