I truly do not understand the positive reviews this restaurant has received. Given there are only, roughly, 70 reviews I have to wonder if some of these are artificial.
The broth is extremely dull and salty, completely inauthentic and lackluster in flavor. The prices are extremely high for a very small portion of subpar ramen. I am extremely disappointed and wanted to spare the next person who eats here the same experience.
I always like to give the benefit of the doubt- please trust me, SAVE YOUR MONEY!
We were in from out of state and hoping to find a good ramen spot while we were here, and this place was perfect. We will come back if we are in this area again !
This place is amazing super underrated # pho in CT, everything in the menu sooooo GOOD!!
Fantastic spot for ramen. The service was great and the food was exceptional!
Only ordered appetizers but they were great. The hot sexy was like their version of a jalapeno popper and it was tasty , also ordered the gyoza dumpling. Quick take out and everything was good, will return.
First time here. My son had a sushi roll and shrimp dumplings. They were able to customized the sushi roll to his asking. I had the seafood Ramen. Food was great!
Although there is a dine in area, it is all open. So, it was chilly, especially as customers came in and out.
Always worth a visit for excellent fried rice and delicious ramen.
Me and my girlfriend came in to eat ramen for the first time and it was great, nice serving size and everything. I would come back
It seems that every time I go near Central Connecticut State College, another little restaurant pops up.
So.Ramen is one of those where if you don't pull into the parking lot you might not know it's there. I'm so glad I did pull in because I discovered a wonderful little enclave of Asian noodle soups, with plenty of appetizing side dishes and healthy foods. When I walked in it was quiet and uncrowded.
After deciding on the Gyoza appetizer, I next ordered The Guidon Beef for the main noodle course. The Gyoza was pan fried to perfection, and the sweet soy sauce was an excellent accompaniment.
The noodle dish had thin slabs of beef with a rich broth , steamed vegetables and noodles. It was absolutely delicious.
Next time I visit, and each time thereafter I am going to attempt to order a new dish because all of it is so good.
One should not hesitate to seek out this little Asian yummy spot, right on the edge of the campus. You will be very pleasantly greeted with a wonderful staff and the best noodle dishes around.
This is the ramen spot I've been searching for! Tasty, good service, and consistent quality. Get something, anything, from the menu, and I'm sure you won't be disappointed. I've had the chicken katsu curry ramen, the pork buns, the gyudon, and the shabu shabu fried udon. All delicious and good portions for what you're paying. Plus you'll feel ready for a good sleep after indulging.

Not the best ramen, but it's good for the price point. If you don't like oily broth (as many people in the reviews are complaining about), then ask for the vegetarian broth. Add a little sriracha and ?

The service and restaurant were fine, but I've never had such awful Japanese ramen. I thought it was Korean owned, and Koreans and Japanese do ramen well. This place was owned by neither. The broth has too much of a pork flavor for my liking, and that's just preference. But the mushroom and bamboo shoots were smelled and tasted rotten. The noodles were undercooked. And the takoyaki was undercooked, and not flavored like Japanese takoyaki. I couldn't finish my ramen from disgust, and concern over food poisoning. Real Japanese ramen is savory, sometimes light, sometime rich. I left the food from this place and went to Chipotle.
