Wheelchair accessibility: So-so. They were accommodating but there wasn't much space.

Genuine delicious Polish food. We had the sampler. It didn't disappoint. The pile soup is delicious and unique.

This was quite a tastey place to go for lunch. The food was filling, but didn't leave me feeling stuffed. This is by no means an upscale place. You can definitely see the wear throughout. But, it just adds to the charm and authenticity of the place. The food was extraordinarily good. I tried a pickle soup (available Saturdays), and I just about was in heaven. I have never tried anything like it, and now crave it like you wouldn't believe.I also enjoyed the side of sauerkraut which I believe was sweetened with some apple, as well as a sauerkraut salad that was surprisingly refreshing. The desert menu looked nice, but I was too full to try anything.

Vegetarian options: There are plenty of meat free dishes.

Dietary restrictions: Depending on your dietary restrictions, they may be able to accommodate you.

Parking: Fairly large parking lot on the side of the building.

Kid-friendliness: There's a bar here, and lots of elderly folks come. You can bring kids, but seriously, don't bring a lot of them.

Wheelchair accessibility: Not the most accessible, but it still is able to accommodate one.

Absolutely delicious. My guy & I hit this spot last year saying we'll be back. Here we go again this time with friends. The service, atmosphere, alcohol & non alcohol beverages, food & dessert options are awesome with great prices too. Again, we'll be back!

Delicious. I had the fried potato cheese pierogi, the herb stuffed chicken, and lots of Polish beer. Everything was excellent.

Very rude owner, she has no control of her temper. Food is ok but so overpriced. Soup had too much salt felt like it was from a can. And the amount of gravy that is smothered on dishes to make it look decent is gross. Might as well good you a spoon for gravy soup. Will not be coming back even for free. One word "Ew".

Fresh scrumptious authentic Polish food, beers on tap in a homey setting. Outdoor seating is available. I'd go back every week I'd I could.

Food is authentic Polish, tasty and planty. Recently, prices went up, but all the prices went up. Inflation ?. If you are looking for atmosphere, go to Lutnia (is still in business) in Chicago... Staropolska is a great place!!!???

I wish I could give this restaurant a 0. Margaret the owner is downright rude. We went into her establishment this weekend and she ignored us then when she finally decided to wait on us to seat us she acted like she looked down upon us for not speaking Polish. For a restaurant on a neighborhoods that is supposed to be so inviting we felt exactly the opposite. The food was cold the service was slow and then when we tried to talk to Margaret she had the nerve to basically blame us. So much for customer service. We asked for take out containers. They never came. We finally just paid the bill and left. For so so food definitely not a place I would go to again. Not to get yelled at by the owner and made to feel less than.

What a great time! I have not had such authentic amazing food like this in many years. Everything was so good! I also must add how wonderful our waitress was. Magdalena was so kind and really took the time to explain and answer questions. She made some great recommendations! I also love that the owner came out and talked to us. It was so sweet. For how good everything was, 5 stars was not enough. Looking forward to go back!!!

We had borscht. It was not good. Had potato pancakes which were just deep fried grated potatoes with no onion or flavor. Stuffed cabbage were brown over cooked tubes. What happened?
