Ordered about $400 worth of food for an event, when the delivery driver arrived he began banging on our door, arguing and even smoked a cigarette in our face, all because they forgot to add a delivery fee onto our check. We had even tipped him $20 too. Unprofessionalism that I’ve never experienced before. Owner couldn’t even apologize when we spoke over the phone. Not to mention the lamb shawarma was extremely dry. Will never order from here again.

Edit November 2024: So after I visited them again, I am now determined, they are so good, I will make it a traditional stop every time traveling to Hartford.... Earlier October 2024: Visiting the area, Googled for a restaurant and found this one, well done, good food, delicious and a lot of choices.
My husband and I split the Lamb Ouzi and Eggplant Platter and the portions were so generous. The food was out fast and spices were on point. Lots of local families were there and they had a steady stream of customers. Everything tasted really fresh! Would recommend!

Amazing food and place, the place spacious, clean and the songs playing were very cheerful ?. The staff very active and welcoming. I dined in and enjoyed a really big portions of food, and I ordered Shawerma for my kids in my way out. It was a really good experience brought me back to my country.

My husband and I and our friends enjoyed our dinners last night at Syriana. None of us had eaten Syrian food before and we found it so flavorful! We had lamb schawerma with rice and one of us had a chicken schawerma platter and we were all very pleased with our choices and we had some left over to take home. In addition the turnip and cucumber pickles and the stuffed grape leaves were great! The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely go back!

Great food, it didn’t take much time for us to have the food. Ingredients were fresh. The staff is extremely nice.
