I don’t usually write reviews but..there is nothing authentic about this place. Not the food nor the atmosphere. I wasted over $50 on a dinner for two that was bland. Ordered to-go and everything was swimming in the Udon Drunken Seafood. Don’t bother getting the Thai Lo Mein with shrimp unless you want about 5 pieces of shrimp. Dinner was basically a laxative, that’s about all i got from it.

My boyfriend and I tried their food the other night and were pleasantly surprised! The food had so much flavor and the veggies were all great quality. I hope this restaurant is successful! We will definitely be back !

I order from here every Tuesday ever since I tried it. My first time experience was great which gained my business.
Food is so good and authentic, definitely recommend it. The drunken noodles (with homemade hot sauce) and fried rice with cashews 🔥🔥

They’re so niceee here, the service is amazing!! The food is delicious and authentic, I love how flavorful everything is and how nice the portions are. The ingredients are so fresh!!

We got the chit chat crab chips (SO DELICIOUS and crunchy), lunch specials of drunken noodles & massaman curry (which came with spring roll & soup/salad)

The mango sticky rice was good but the pork wonton dumplings aren't that good it was dry and bland, service wasn't that good too, we weren't attended that much and we are the only costumers that time for lunch and a bit expensive for a thai good.

Ordered through Uber Eats on a Sunday. Usually I buy from Mae Kong which is way better value for the quality and quantity of food. I bought the chicken teriyaki. It came in a regular plastic take out container with no exaggeration, seven! small and thin cut up pieces of a chicken breast. Very much overcooked, probably a day old. Swimming in a flavorless broth with the faintest hint of a teriyaki flavor with more flavorless sad vegetables. The jasmine rice was just rice. Absolute waste of $22. Not justifyable when the chicken is inedible and wouldn’t even get a toddler full. I won’t EVER order from here again and I will tell everyone I know to STAY AWAY! Times are tough but this is no way to run a restaurant. Do better.
PS. I only ate it cause I was hungry. I regret not taking a picture of all 7 pieces

Really authentic Thai food! I tried the drunken noodles and pumpkin curry, and they were delicious and so flavorful. The service was good and the owner was friendly and attentive. In my opinion, worth the driving! Next time I will try the Chiang-mai noodles 💗

Picked up food, I tried the pumpkin curry for the first time and it was great. I had it without the cashew nuts though. Excellent

Thai Kitchen 29 is the best Thai restaurant in the greater Hartford area. It has a huge menu with monthly specials, seating for 8 dinners max, in a rough neighborhood, and it's pure magic. The roti canai has the best dipping sauce I've had in many years, they should bottle it. There is so much heart and soul and flavor here. One visit is all it takes to understand what I'm talking about.

My family had the greatest time here today! The service was so sincere, sweet and family-oriented. The food was phenomenal- it reminded us of the quality and taste of our trip to Thailand! Overall I would 100% recommend this restaurant and to try the pumpkin curry dish (inspired by the owners grandma), the papaya salad and truly everything on the menu.
