First of all the service was not as bad as everyone said. The order was taken, correctly executed in a timely fashion. Atmosphere? It's got a few seats and does a lot of take out. What are people expecting? Live music and free hookah?
The only real complaint is the bagels. I'm a snotty NYer and the Bagelman bagels.. They were ok, but should have been a little more dense. And when I say toast it dark, really... You should toast it.

I ordered a plain bagel with vegan cream cheese for my drive home from the area and when I went to eat it (I was no longer nearby) they gave me regular “veggie” dairy-based cream cheese. I cannot have dairy and this is an extremely dangerous mistake. So disappointing, I was so excited to see vegan cream cheese at first. Very negligent and irresponsible. Staff should be trained about what vegan is; as people with milk allergies and dietary restrictions order this!!!!
Great bagels, pretty good menu, good pastries too. My only complaint was the size of my coffee! For $3.69, I would expect a large ice coffee to be at least the size of a DunkinDonuts medium ice. It wasn't. Though it was a very decent coffee, it would be nice it were bigger.

We used to always visit the bagelman in brookfield and dreamed of the day one could come to New Milford! It finally happened and I could not be happier! My order is perfect everytime; I order with work a lot and it can be a big and picky order and they always get it right! And Brooke who is usually there when we pickup, is the absolute sweetest!

Not sure what’s changed at this location but most recently, every Saturday when I purchase a breakfast sandwich, it’s cold. I’m not going out of my way anymore. This is on the weekend. My theory is that someone is cooking a bunch of eggs and it’s sitting waiting to be put in a sandwich later on.
