Got bottom of the barrel hard serve Vanilla, tasted like peppermint and was very grainy and doughy??? Service was bad too, an older guy actually sighed when I paid with a card.

There is an older gentleman that is so down right rude here. I stood there for atleast 10 minutes, while he stood in the back. He finally came to ask me what I wanted, I told him I wanted a medium cup of ice cream. He scooped it and didn’t even bother asking me if I wanted any toppings. When I told him that I wanted hot fudge. His words quote on quote “why do you tell me now instead of yesterday”. I couldn’t even believe the kind of customer service he just gave me. I told him to just forget it. He then took my card and brought it to the back to punch in my numbers. Very sketchy, and rude service

Older man came out from the back after I waited and called out and was obnoxiously rude! I had questions about ordering a cake and he only made snide remarks without answering my questions. He told me to just pick a cake from the case and put it in my freezer. Thanks to the internet I was able to get the recipe for the crunchies and made my daughter’s birthday cake myself!!!!

If i could give 0 stars i would. My fiance and i went here and purchased 2 soft served icecreams. Not only did the owner act like we were wasting his time even though we knew exactly what we wanted, took my fiances order just fine and when it came to mine it was almost as if he disregarded that i was there completely. We go to pay and not having ever been to this Carvel, we were unaware of their outrageous $15 minimum on a credit card, our order has come to $12.. The owner made a huge scene and tapped on the paper which stated $15 minimum which we hadn't seen. I appologized and he still did the transaction but made it known to the entire store that "next time i better bring him cash to pay for my ice cream instead". Sorry, there wont be a next time, i will never support a business whose owner is as rude and condescending as Albert is. Avoid this Carvel as if your life depends on it!

Owner is RUDE. First I order and he shakes his head and corrects my order. Then I see a sign after the fact that he only accepts credit cards for over $15 and proceeds to point to the sign. He reluctantly took my card but hey, maybe put the sign on the door so we see it before we’ve ordered and not after we have our ice cream. I mean not that many people carry cash these days!! This was my 2nd time here and I had a bad experience the last time too. Never going here again.

This Carvel is better than the one in Danbury, but I'm not sure if that says too much because that one is trash. This Carvel services up all the classic Carvel streak in a throw back looking building, which I enjoy. Services is always great.

So glad I finally visited this Carvel. I haven’t had their ice cream since I was a kid, and one taste brought me right back.A cute little place with lots of variety considering the size (pre-made items like cakes — which are made on premises — and a variety of hard of soft ice creams, sundaes and shakes.The cherry on top (pun intended) was the gentleman working behind the counter. Friendly, dropping jokes and cracking us up while taking our orders, answering our questions and serving us.Can’t wait to go back!

Wellllll the owner was condescending and not very kind, the other employee was nice so she gets a star. But the hours weren't correct and so when we showed up the precious time they were closed...even though everywhere else stated they were open.
