Excellent breakfast this morning! Beautiful and delicious

The sweetest cafe. The chef puts so much love into her food! Everything I have tried here is absolutely delicious. I love the breakfast burrito with goat cheese, no meat. I just tried the veggie burger that was a special, so flavorful and hearty! The coffee is also great! Everything here is wonderful , including the staff! Oh and the gluten free chocolate chip cookie is out of this world! This is my favorite restaurant in the area. It's also all organic and high quality!

This beautiful, clean cafe is a bit off the beaten path, past the section of Railroad Street where we usually muck around. So even though it's apparently been open for years, we'd never stopped in until recently -- and for that, I'm extremely sad. There's a casual cafe area to the left when you walk in, and a separate dining room to the right where tables are covered with nice linen tablecloths (protected by a sheet of glass) and adorned with a tiny sunflower in a small vase on our visit. The space is casual but elegant, absolutely charming. The servers and employees were all incredibly nice and patient. Even though we went in after breakfast service was over, they let us order off the breakfast menu for our kids -- the lunch menu was a bit challenging for them, unfortunately -- while the (nominally more) grownup crowd ordered off the lunch menu. We had: Chocolate Energizer Smoothie ($8) -- The drink was brimming with crunchy cocoa nibs, incredibly rich, and not overly sweet. This was wonderful for adults, but needed a touch of extra sugar for it to be enjoyable for our kids. Agua de Melón ($6.25) -- A perfect summer drink made with frozen cantaloupe blended with mint and agave. This was delicious for some of us, but a bit of a reach unfortunately for mint-skeptical family members. Banana Walnut Bread, GF ($4.00) -- The menu describes the banana bread as "famous" and I can certainly see why it ought to be. It was wonderfully fragrant from the banana, a bit denser than your usual wheat flour-based loaf -- but my kids are used to my gluten-free renditions of everything already and had no complaints about the texture. As with everything else we tried at this restaurant, the banana bread was not overly sweet. Fantastic. Challah French toast ($13.50) -- I didn't try any of this, but Progeny 1, who ordered it, devoured it all despite having had breakfast a mere 3 hours prior, so it must've been good. The texture was more bready than custardy and it came with a small ramekin of maple syrup, bits of strawberries and peaches, and a cloud of real whipped cream, unsweetened. Tandoori Chickpea + Kale Bowl (crispy tandoori chickpeas, tender massaged kale, organic diced cucumber, tomatoes and shredded carrot, with house vegan tzatziki and tahini sauce; $14.50) -- I was deeply enamoured with this concoction as a whole. Coconut-laced chickpeas were a bit salty, and some portions were a bit burnt -- but the good parts perfectly balanced out the kale (lightly massaged, so still quite hearty in texture), tomatoes, cucumber, all beautifully tempered by the creamy, coconutty tzatziki / tahini sauce. This was an ingeniously composed, hearty salad, which the Sweetgreens of the world dream of growing up to serve. My partner very much enjoyed his ham, chevre, and fig panini ($16), which seemed balanced and came with an simple, but excellent, side salad. A generous side of bacon ($3.50) came fried to a medium crispy texture, much to our older one's delight. It wasn't well blotted, but we remedied that at the table. Excellent ingredients* all around, made with love into nourishing, nurturing food + fabulous, hospitable staff with genuinely wonderful energy = a truly delightful find in New Milford. We intend to make up for all those wasted years when we didn't know this place existed. * There was good pink Himalayan salt and demerara sugar on the table, which I found to be a particularly gracious act of hospitality in these times, when I'm sure it's not easy for a restaurant to break even. Thank you.

I absolutely love this place. It's my go to place for brunch when I'm in town. The ham and cheese sandwich is FANTASTIC. My mom also recently ordered the chickpea bowl and that was absolutely delicious as well. They also make a great chicken curry salad. I usually like to finish with a chocolate chip cookie that they'll warm up for you. You can't go wrong here everything is great. This restaurant does run at a slower pace but I don't view that as a negative at all! You never feel rushed and you can relax and enjoy yourself. Just don't come here expected to be in and out fast! Definitely check this place out if you haven't had the chance yet!

First visit was yesterday… I wish I found it sooner! Food is spectacular… it’s a must try.

It was closed July 4, to my dismay, since I was looking forward to a really elegant gourmet breakfast. I have been there a few times before and have never been disappointed.

What a cute place! I had a fig and goat cheese panini, which was delicious. The cookie my boyfriend and I split was also amazing. There’s not a ton of seating and we were told no breakfast was being served even though multiple people who arrived after us got breakfast — but either way our food was great. Pumped to go back!

High quality ingredients and impeccable service. The rosemary ham and Chèvre sandwich is my favorite sandwich in town.

My very picky daughter adored your savory scones this morning. And my very picky, only-eats-vegan-baked-goods self looooved your baked donuts and masala chai latte this morning. Is saying “I love you” too forward?
