Today's experience went incredibly well! My daughter loved her French toast! The eggs and potatoes were delicious as well. This cafe is small but so comfortable, you forget about its size as you enjoy your meal and good company. I adore the flower accent wall! I recommend going here 100%. One thing that stood out to me in a positive way, was the hot drinks menu included mexican hot chocolate. This is a first for me to see, but I am so delighted to know.

Quality coffee, friendly staff, and y’all, they make their own syrup for chai lattes! Not only is River and Rail a great place to stop into, they’re also a great catering option. On the morning of my wedding, the staff set up coffee and bagels for me and my bridesmaids who were getting ready at a salon down the street. Then they brought sandwiches over to the venue for lunch. Ethan, the manager, helped us craft the menu for the day. We had a few allergies among the bridal party, and we wanted to avoid anything that could possibly smudge or smear on our outfits. Ethan came up with great options that everyone enjoyed. Several groomsmen went back for seconds—or thirds! You just can’t go wrong with River and Rail.

The atmosphere is very small but very quaint. Menu is also small, but the food was pretty good! Nothing blew us away by any means (besides the home fries!) but it was decent and it was fuel for the day! Before going , I was reading reviews and wasn’t able to find a coffee menu anywhere. So for those wondering, they do classic espresso bar drinks (drip coffee, lattes, americanos, cappuccinos, mochas , etc.. hot or iced, and they do offer flavorings as well). Had an iced vanilla latte and it wasn’t bad ! Friendly staff and centrally located in a busy little area of town!

R&R is my heaven. If you want to have a cozy, magical day, I recommend the Lavender Haze latte. The honey and lavender makes you feel like you are in a hot tub in a tiny fairy village, being served elixirs of intoxicating ambrosia. Also, the staff are all absolute gems. I always feel right at home when I bring my journal or a nice book from the library down the street.

The coffee is good! I like a good oatmeal latte and this place does not disappoint but the food is okay. Also the internet does not work well, it goes off and on so when I come to sit and do some work I cannot which has happened a few times over the last several months. I wish they would get it fixed and I would come more often.

Saw a lot of great reviews on their breakfast. We ordered pancakes, the farmers breakfast, the Vermonter sandwich & a Mexican hot chocolate . Our total was $65 I personally do not feel that it was worth the $$. The pancakes had way too much vanilla bean extract in it giving them a terribly bitter after taste. Along with the texture I was not pleased with. The way the fries were prepared with the Vermonter they used way too much dried rosemary which gave a very over powering taste. I love the concept it’s a very “homey” vibe here. I’m sure they have other great things on the menu it was very busy inside so the food could have been rushed however I would not return.

Such a cute little cafe with a cozy vibe. We were in search of a breakfast spot and were recommended to River & Rail Cafe, and it did not disappoint.Me: Za'atar Spiced Avocado Toast + Chai LatteJ: Farmer's Breakfast B: Farmer's Breakfast + CoffeeL: Za'atar Spiced Avocado Toast with egg scrambledS: Za'atar Spiced Avocado Toast The avocado toast was solid and delicious. It came with herb-roasted potatoes, and it was made to perfection. Service was decent. We placed our order via the cashier once entering, and they brought the food and drinks out to our table one by one. However, I wished they would have asked what drink size I wanted because they gave me a 16oz instead of a 12oz. Overall, we had a good experience here. Definitely recommend.
