The food was amazing. The place was cozy and very enjoyable. we would Def go back.
A destination place to be sure, hidden on a country road...steamed little neck clams, outstanding
Great food and fantastic beer on tap and bottles/cans. Atmosphere is a super comfortable rustic charm with a ton of history. Highly recommend

My wife and I were visiting family in Sherman, from Ft.Worth.
Great food and friendly staff. The atmosphere was old school New England.
Loved it.

The service was good, but the chicken was stiff, unseasoned, and undercooked which is not safe for consumption.
Very cool old tavern. Food was very good we had the nachos, wings and mozzarella sticks. Theres a nice little outdoor area to eat and it looked like you could play cornhole. I will definitely go back.

Went here with my wife for dinner not realizing that you can't get dinner until after 4pm. Unfortunately we were there at 2PM and they can't deviate from the posted time for dinner (our mistake). Wife started off with the chili which was very meaty but watery. I started off with the fried calamari which was tender but soggy. Wife had the Philly cheese steak with extra cheese which they had forgotten. Said sandwich was decent but don't care much for coated fries. I had the French dip with onion rings which was OK. Overcooked roast beef and not much cheese. The beer was nice and cold. Excellent service and rustic atmosphere. If we were to go back it would be after 4pm for dinner.

We live in NYC but come to the area every weekend. We went with our 3 little boys so the yard games on the gravel were a huge plus. The servers were so friendly and informative on the menu. I ordered the fish tacos - excellent. My husband ordered the steak and said it was one of the best steaks he’s had (which says a lot). The prices are what you can expect for a mid to higher end restaurant. The sangria was delicious. Will definitely be back again (and again)!

Ate here 3 times. Last time had the roasted beet salad; it's large, bought half home. Had the tuna meal; bought half of that home, too.
Katy is very cordial & great staff.
Was very satisfied with the meal.

Always great food and friendly people! Micayla is great!
After reading the fabulous reviews of the Old Oak Tavern I highly recommended it to friends as a place to meet. When we arrived and saw the front of the building (slightly run down) we were a bit apprehensive. We shouldn’t have been. We sat inside the historic building with wood beams, beautiful moldings and charming decor. The outside seating area is also lovely. The food was excellent. The Tavern burger was cooked perfectly and the fries were crisp and tender. Service was friendly and our server was very helpful answering questions about the menu. So happy we overcame our appreciation and enjoyed a wonderful meal.

Honestly I've been here a few times and the food is pretty good pub style fare. It's done well and the atmosphere is inviting enough for a couple drinks.
Had a yuuuuge burger on a baguette so that right there will bring me back again...plus my company was happy with their order as an added bonus!
Will be back again, so stop in n maybe I'll see ya there!
