This place is not good. Owner makes up prices as she checks people out. The inside of the bagels have a texture similar to bread. PopUp Bagels in Newtown is much better.

I was extremely thirsty today and wanted to just grab a bottled drink with my wife... we got one bottle peach ice tea ... and one bottle Yoo-hoo. The owner was lovely .... The tab came to over $10 for 2 drinks. That just seemed excessive and both my wife and I were honestly flabbergasted. The bagels are good here and close to real deal you get in city.

Crowded local bagel and deli. First time there. Quick service and friendly staff. Lox sandwich. Bagels were fair. Took the third time before I got one they weren’t out of. Maybe that was problem. Sesame wasn’t first choice. I’ll definitely go back and try again. Judging from crowd, they do plenty right.

So they have plenty of off street parking as it's in a large shopping plaza area. The place is run by a mom / daughter combo everything is cooked to order so the line is the line not to long but moved quickly once ordered . The bagels are racked in the open so you can see what they have which is the standard variations i didn't see any specials but I wasn't really looking either as I had my heart set on what I ordered. They have a few tables of you want to eat in but most people today was to go orders with a brisk business. The bagel was light and airy not a real hard outer crunch and not chewy on the inside more like a roll than a bagel being not dense. The flavor was fantastic as it covered all the levels and had really nice taste. My bagel was not toasted but was fine the way it was . The meat was plentiful the eggs fresh and the sandwich very tasty for my rainy Sunday morning . Overall I was pleased with my purchase but found the bagel itself lacking in that crunchy outer crust and chewy interior . Was worth the drive and if you're in newtown CT it's centrally located down the street from the flagpole is worth a try but I have found better for the area and still prefer as does UCONN AM bagel in Derby CT .. or Bagel King in Bridgeport CT.

Always looking for a good bagels being from New York. My daughter lives in CT. Now we live in PA and can't get decent bagels and everybody uses Duncan donuts. Sent my wife in to get a dozen to take back home and get 2 of the bagels buttered to go with a cup of coffee. The lady said she couldn't do that it was to confusing. A dozen bagels would of cost $16.00. Plus we where charged an extra $9.20 for a coffee and the 2 bagels. Doesn't anyone have some business sense anymore????

The best bagel you will ever have! Open 365 days, this is the most committed staff you'll meet. Eunice, the owner, will take the time to speak to each customer and wins you over instantly. Sometimes there is a line but it is worth the wait. It is a family friendly setting that uses counter service and displays the bagel flavors in baskets. The bagels are very thick and cream cheese portion even thicker, so make sure you go hungry. They offer multiple cream cheese flavors along with sandwich options. The hidden gem menu item is the chicken salad. Be sure to try it!

I’m from Minnesota and these are THE BEST bagels I’ve ever had!! I ordered a dozen to bring home and the owner was so overly nice and gave me over two dozen bagels!! Definitely a must go if you’re in the area!❤️
