We had an extraordinary experience dining at Barnwood Grill. The food was beautifully prepared and presented, the ambiance was very nice, and our meals were delicious. One of the best dining experiences we have had in a long time. We will definitely return.

Food and ambience were fantastic! Burrata chicken was outstanding! Cocktails were off even when trying something different but I've been before and they've been great so may have just been an off night. Front desk staff could not have been any nicer. I'm a big Barnwood fan and highly recommend to others and will definitely be back.

Fabulous service and all four prix fixe meals were beautifully plated and delicious (special shoutout for prep of the grilled octopus). My only issue is that it would have been nice to have some sort of advance notice that the Mother's Day menu was ONLY prix fixe, no orders off the usual menu. It turned out absolutely fine because every meal was great, but was quite a surprise when we sat down to be told prix fixe at $65 pp was the only option.

Every time I come here, I'm always pleased with the staff, the food, and the quality of the place. It's a very nice restaurant and it's upscale enough that it feels like you're doing something fun, but not too over the top.

A wonderful restaurant tucked into a busy parking lot but once you enter you are instantly transported to a very classy and laid back environment. Food is excellent, specialty drinks and desserts delicious, I recommend making a reservation on line especially on a weekend the line was out the door when we were leaving. Bon appetite

First time going to Barnwood Grill. BG offered good food & drinks, a nice atmosphere that is not too noisy, and solid service. Where I think they really differentiate themself in an area where there are a ton of very similar restaurants is how much more reasonably priced their menu options are vs. the rest. We had a great night and will be working this restaurant into our rotation. Was surprised to that the restaurant closed at 10pm though.

We had a 5pm reservation on a Friday night. My husband and I got there early, the other party was late but we gave the hostess a heads up. We went to the bar for a cocktail. The bartenders were very friendly. Af5er the other party arrived we went o our table. Our waitress was super nice. Everytime she came to our table she had a big smile on her face. We all loved our food (steaks, salads, seafood), everything was cooked very well. We even got dessert which was also amazing. We will definitely be back and will recommend it to others.

This has been our go to restaurant for years now prior and during the pandemic..whether we do takeout as we did during the COVID or in person ..always great food and service...my husband always gets a hello from the manager and ambience is great during the summer and we always go during the holidays as well as love the fireplace and decorations ...our boys love to go with us when they're up from the NYC..Newtown is always our place of restaurants coming from Brookfield.
The manager on the day we were there went out of his way to correct an issue I had with ordering meal gift certificates for my son in law. I made a mistake and he fixed it for me and was very professional. Much appreciated. By the way, our meal was delicious also, as usual.

Your food was exceptional, service was perfect - really made our time together to memorable. My sister and family are Sandy Hook survivors and she shared with me how much your family has done for the community - really grateful!
