I am not sure how this place has just great reviews. My experience was pretty dissapointing. We ordered cheese fries and gravy, the gravy was pretty flavorless and there wasn't a lot of cheese on the fries which was pretty disappointing. I ordered the cornbeef hash and it was a total let down, it looked to have ground beef in it and a strange grey color and didn't taste great. I returned my meal for a different reason and they did graciously take it off the check, which is well appreciated. Maybe we just hit them on a bad day.

Ordered a chicken pesto panini sandwich. Pesto sauce missing on sandwich and received a cup of pure oil. Overall Panini not worthy of charging someone for a meal. I could have made this at home. Absolutely lifeless.
Ordered glass of red wine and given in dirty glass.

It's your typical diner. They can do a lot of different things and none of them well. Very meat centric. Very few choices for vegetarians. Maybe one thing for vegans.

The food was your standard diner food. Not fantastic, not awful. The place was only about half full and the service was slow. Waitress did not appear to be a rookie but she was in no hurry. My gyro with egg on a bun was edible. The egg was slightly overcooked, the lamb was was a little skint and the bun needed to be toasted more.

The restaurant was clean and most of the staff were friendly and helpful.

It was like going back in time!! The diner was clean as a whistle. The restroom was spotless. When you opened the door to enter the diner you were greeted with an array of various pies, cakes, cupcakes, cookies and other fabulous looking desserts to buy and take home. We were there for a late breakfast and it was hard to choose from their fast menu. What we all ordered arrived quickly and the portions were huge and the prices very fair. We of course all bought treats to bring home to our families. If you are traveling down I-84 near Newton, Ct be sure to check to diner out.

Stopped by this Blue Colony Dinner, close to I-84, on our way home from New York. The location was just very convenient, has welcoming appearance! We dinner with home made fish and chips with salad. My wife had the Greek salad. The food was very tasty, simply delicious! It was a very nice dinner, coffee and marzipan cookie for desert. The dinner is very roomy and spacious ambience! The service was efficient and prompt, the parking is very good. The prices are reasonable. We will stop by this dinner on our next trip. Thanks.

Wonderful!! What a treat! Awesome place with great food and really nice people serving us there. The salad was very good and the Clam Chowder was fantastic! The Pot Roast with pancake potatoes were as good as grandma used to make. My serving was easily a two portion meal. Huge menu selections.

I stopped at TBD on Monday, in the afternoon, and the service, and the food was excellent. The server could not be any more excellent. And of course, the food was very good. I couldn't leave without getting some desserts, and these were also excellent. I had Chicken shish cabob. Rick Laird, Boston MA.
