Cafe Xpresso a Coffee Shop & Bakery

I celebrated my PhD earlier this evening in this fine place. Well we enjoyed a marvelous evening and the restaurant was surely the reason for this successful meeting. The team cooperated in a gorgeous way, the cooking was extremely good and my guests were extremely overjoyed. We shall absolutely come back again for more joyful events. thanks very much.

Great coffee and pastries are amazing. Stopped for lunch this afternoon and ordered the Waldorf Chicken salad wrap. Pulled the wrap out of the bag, and opened the wrapping to discover the wrap/sandwich was mostly lettuce. If I had known I would’ve ordered a veggie wrap. The #1 ingredient should be the #1 ingredient.

The drinks here are amazing! They have a great variety for a wide range of palates. They also have new drink specials regularly. Food is delicious but portions are small. Everyone should try the macarons and lavender hot chocolate (only available during the winter). I have been coming in for years and they stay consistent in their quality of food and drinks.

Very friendly staff and I will not fault them for having the kitchen closed when we showed up for a late lunch after 3:00 p.m. we had some amazing desserts, and the staff was helpfully suggesting other neighborhood choices to grab the actual meal. I'm hoping I can give them a proper review in the future when I get there early enough for their kitchen to be open! I look forward to that day!

Coffee taste great! Big down side is staff isn’t very friendly or welcoming. My fiancé and I walked in and we were not greeted. We weren’t asked if we needed help or had any questions. Mind you there was no one else there at the time so there should be no excuse. Seemed like they couldn’t be bothered. With such an expensive menu, I’d think they’d be a bit more friendly so we’d want to come back and help support their business. Probably won’t return.

Adorable little cafe with a cute bakery case, unique food items, and a wide selection of drinks. I especially enjoy the chai latte and maple breakfast sandwich.

The best coffee shop ever! Voted best coffee shop 2019 in CT Magazine for a reason. Bright, beautiful, and clean, Cafe Xpresso is hands down the best Cafe from Ridgefield to Trumbull and all the way up to northern Litchfield County. I love all the artisan breads and fresh baked items. The front baked goods case is always beautifully full! The Holy Basil sandwich is one of my favorites. Global coffees wonderful too. Staff wonderfully welcoming. A "must go" in Fairfield County.

Sandwiches are good. However, service is wanting. While I was waiting for my sandwiches to go, I got to watch one of the clerks count the money from the tip jar at the front counter. I watched him exchange coins for dollar bills from the cash register. While he's counting the money, the two female clerks are talking and by now my sandwiches were ready, but I had to wait till they finished their conversation before my sandwiches were put in a bag so I could leave.

This is a HIDDEN GEM folks. Small coffee shop with local owners & the coffee is incredible. Today I had an iced tea that was soo good; great flavor & even with ice it wasn't watered down.
