They say they are world famous. I would question why and how? I have to say the pizza and grinders look amazing out of the oven but I found their food to be very bland and without distinctive character.
We ordered a side salad and for $9 we got a small container with just lettuce and grated cheese. The chicken grinders at $17 were ok but not alot of flavor. To say they totally underwhelmed may be a bit generous. It's just not worth the prices they charge. Disappointed.
The service and food were amazing!!
Their mushroom & eggplant pizza is sooooo delicious!! We will keep going back!!
Great pizza !
Best pizza in Connecticut!
The food was really good. This was the first time I was here, but I will definitely return we ate in, and the owner was very friendly he even offered to make a small pizza while I waited for my girlfriend to get there. If you haven't tried this location, you are missing out.
Great pizza
The pizza here is incredible! Highly recommend you get a slice or a pie.
The single slices are huge! More like 2-3 slices in 1!
Quality, fresh, well put together! The right fresh bread. Fresh deli meats, crisp lettuce! Spectacular Italian Grinder. The pizza Slices ARE HUGE and delicious! Simplicity quality, Nice to have places like this still around.

Stopped here because just passing by. Lacking taste, don't know how to make a tomato pie, very little sauce, no taste. Below average, even for the area. Many better places around. No comparison to New Haven, but wasn't even expecting it to be.

Great people offering your typical fan fare for a pizzeria. I have had their pizza, and although it is not for me, theirs subs are by far the best in the area. Their grinder rolls are exquisite and come from NY and mesh phenominaly with their chicken parm and sausage and peppers. I find their grinders very well priced for what you get and always well received. ALSO, a GIANT kudos... these people take phone orders CORRECTLY and follow directions well!

A slice of the pizza Mecca tucked away, far from New Havens pizza energy! Carmiuccio's is right up there with Modern, Pepe's, Sally's and the like. Any pizza snob would agree!
One complaint though, is the pricing. They would benefit from reduced pricing via coupons like buy one get one or every tenth pie is free, or something like that.
