Came here on a Friday night with a small group and didn’t have any wait to be seated. Service was great and food was great. I got wings and tater tots. The wings are good sized and crispy. the tater tots were the best. Crispy and soft at the same time.

Love this place! We sit in and takeout. Good food for everyone. The blue cheese dressing that comes with the wings & celery is very good now!

Me and a couple of girlfriends stop by here for a drink after work. Our server was EXTREMELY nasty and rude. She was behind the bar, dark skin with hair curled I believe. She acted as if we were bothering her by ordering lol. Ordered wings, they were saturated with sauce and almost wasn’t cooked fully. My honest opinion, I will never return based off the customer service alone.

Stop at Cover 2 tonight to have a quick bite and a couple of drinks. Pleasantly surprised at the quality of drinks and the food as well. Their special lemon drop blueberry martini is absolutely delicious and their apple walnut grilled chicken salad was generous and fantastic! The bartender was personable and gave great service. I will be back again soon!

Was here for a birthday party. The servers the food & bartender were all amazing. We played music on the jukebox inside and the manager skipped all our songs and locked out the music. He said it wasn’t the “motif” for the atmosphere of the bar during the day. It’s honestly a disappointment we can’t hear the music we want for a birthday because the manager doesn’t like it. Definitely won’t be coming back.

I come here every friday night once a week. Every experience i’ve had here is nothing but amazing. The service is out of this world, especially when sitting by the bar with Ashley and Jake. The food is delicious (believe me i’ve tried almost everything on the menu once). The owner, Ben, is one of the most attentive restaurant owners i’ve ever met. This place is overall amazing and I would recommend it to anyone looking to try something new in the Sandy Hook area.

i could write a 4 page paper on everything this business does right to support and offer the customer an amazing experience, but today i’m here about the blue cheese! they made the amazing decision to rework the recipe. when i say it’s in the top 3 best blue cheeses i have ever tried. i definitely couldn’t recommend more. try the menu i guarantee you will love every bite.

My family and I have been coming here for years and we loved the food and atmosphere and respectfully ever since the management changed we have really seen a decline in service. I was a day off from my birthday and they wouldn’t honor my birthday wings and that would have never happened in the past especially for someone like us that come here so often and bring so much business to the establishment.
Another thing that is frustrating is they have a jukebox however if the manager wants to play his music your not able to cue anything up but you aren’t told that so you end wasting the money you used to cue up songs. We wasted $10 last time.
We also used to LOVE their fall drink menu and we have noticed that they no longer do that either. We used to order cocktails all the time here but their speciality cocktails aren’t as good as they used to be.
Most of the waiters we deal with are great we love them it’s more so things that are out of their control that they aren’t able to help us with.
Unfortunately it just feels like the care for the customers isn’t there like it used to be.

Update: I was told to email so they could rebuild my trust. I emailed them 2 weeks ago and have not received a response back.

This has become a go-to spot every time I visit CT. The food is consistent and delicious, and the service is immaculate. They also have creative cocktail specials that vary by season, and both indoor and outdoor seating. Their patio is covered as well, so the elements won't affect your dining experience!

Jake and Ashley are the best bartenders ever on a Friday!! Mary too! We would not come here if it wasn’t for them! Best espresso martini and French dip in town.

We swung by Cover Two on our way to a Massachusetts for a soccer tournament. Our orders got mixed up and delayed, but Giuseppe (the manager) jumped in, apologized, and personally made sure our meals were remade perfectly. His calm professionalism turned things around—thanks to him, we left happy and ready for our tournament. Highly recommend!

The atmosphere and staff is very nice. The pricing for the food is a little higher than expected for the type of food severed but not bad and was very tasty.
