Use to be our local spot but I have to say it has unfortunately dropped off as far as quality of food. Their prices always a little on high side but the quality reflected it. The last 2 times I had unfortunately mediocre food at best. Had the reuben last time, it was so dry that it appeared old or reheated a few times. There was little to no sauerkraut and that too was super dry. Fries tasted of old oil. The previous time I had their burger which tasted like freezer burn....
The menu choices were all excellent, so it was difficult to choose. I ended up ordering the Farmhouse Salad and the Filet Mignon. They even gave me some yummy hollandaise sauce. Everything was delicious from the bread to the dessert. Our waitress was very efficient and explained the choices very well. I can’t wait to revisit this restaurant so I can try some of the other meals. I give The Farmhouse 4 Stars!
