The food is good but unfortunately this employee Cesar is very rude. Since we came to the restaurant, when we were ordering, when he was yelling because we didn’t answer right away when our order was ready( there were just a couple and us) always was very mean. He was like that with everyone. So sad that sometimes a good place can be damaged because an employee who doesn’t like to works in customer service but he needs to.

we placed an order online for pickup. it took forever and yet somehow when we got it home (5 minutes fromrestaurant) the whole thing was soggy, cold and the entire order was wrong….not your best five

South of town locale on South main Street (state route 25), the main north/south route through the Botsford section of town, this is on the Monroe side of Newtown. Gets busy on weekends and sometimes you may have to wait awhile for your fries. The food is good the fries are great.

So glad these guys are back in Newtown and they haven’t missed a beat. The fact that they’re open late until 10pm is +++. Always a friendly staff and I always see them cleaning when I walk in. Keep up the great work.

Omg- how much does this place suck. Walk in, go to restroom. No soap no towels. Come out and tell the lump doing absolutely nothing and I get a blank look- not an acknowledgment or a thank you or I'll take care of it, just the stare reserved for mental patients or those living in Mississippi. So I place the order no smile or any meaningful interaction, just a robotic transaction. Food is ready I pick it up and leave. No milkshake. The dimwits never made it, checked that it was there. So I paid $37 for two hamburgers and a small French fry. The 5 Guys that used to be across the street was so much more caring and customer service oriented than this hack shop. Hopefully they too will go out of business quickly as incompetent, pathetic management that provides little or no training does not deserve to run a business.

I will say service is very good young gentleman running the grill. The fries in the counter are very nice. That's where my two stars are coming from because everything else was very poor wasn't because the food was made wrong or anything like that. It's just not the same five guys flavor you would get from other locations. I hope this gets better and I hope the manager teaches these young gentlemen how to cook a little better. I was very excited to have our local five guys back but this is a bit disappointing I will take the further drive next time I crave five guys, but I will give them a second chance soon also, we ordered a small fry and it seems like they gave us an extra small
good burger, generous toppings, when i got to my car i realized they added a huge amount of mushrooms which i didn't even order, still tasted good though.

I would give them 6 stars if they would go a little heavier on the Cajun for my fries next time. I always remember them being orange with flavor at the old newtown location lol. I think I tried the Shelton location once and they went light on the Cajun too so that’s probably what they’re told to do unless u ask for extra. But this spot was pristine, the staff all greeted me and looked happy to be there. One girl who was on her hands and knees scrubbing surfaces, (which inspires confidence in a food place) smiled and gave me a friendly hello when I walked in the door then quickly hopped up and attended to me, asking was I here to pickup an order or place an order.. very efficient. ?Vegetarian options: They have a veggie sandwich on the menu that sounds intriguing..Parking: No issue with parking.
