We found menu to be somewhat limited. Prices were a little above average..not too bad. Charged us $4 for bread with our salad. Waiter was apologetic about it and at first said it would be $5. We found it odd that the place was near empty on a Friday night. We were seated in a room with 14 other tables by ourselves for the entire meal (6:30-8:30) Other rooms were occupied but not busy. Food good!

Looks like an old town restaurant from 150’years ago. Very original

The restaurant is lovely, good selection of items in the menu and I think I didn't really need a reservation as it was just moderately busy. There were 3 tables of large families with alotta kids; the noise level was a little too intense to have a nice dining experience. Maybe a week night would be more enjoyable.
Foundry has so many incredible and unique vegan options that you can't get from anywhere else in the area. I'm so glad Chef Matt is back! Every vegan meal he crafts is perfection and I love seeing what he cooks up on Wednesday nights for Vegan Night! The staff is great and very friendly. Service can be slower on super busy nights but the food is always worth the wait. Cocktails are really good also. Overall, really enjoy coming to Foundry- it's our go-to spot in town.

One of my partner and I’s staples. She is vegan and they have plenty of delicious vegan options that I will also indulge in cause they are just that delicious. For a short period, they changed the menu and got rid of those options, but we are very very happy that Chef Matt has returned and brought back the original menu, and included even more options for both my vegan partner and my omnivore self. Excellent dining experience and we will be back again and again

Great service but overpriced for the food selection. Nice to try but not worth a second trip .

The food was okay, but the quality did not justify the high prices. With a limited menu, this feels like a one-time visit, especially when better meals are available elsewhere for the same money.
Long wait for our food but other than that we loved it. At least we know they were making food fresh! The food was delicious!

The service and ambience was great! We came early and even with a little baby we were very comfortable and the staff were great. The food was good overall, we had the weekly focaccia which was a 5/5. We also had the steak frites, and a Thai soup.. both 4/5. The last thing we had were the short rib Birria tacos.. 3 street tacos for $26 😯 (are these the most expensive tacos in CT?) anyway for us these were a 2/5 considering the value. Overall - would definitely go back, but not for the tacos 😅
Really enjoy this place. Cozy atmosphere. Little bit loud. But really feels good just to be there. Servers are great. Polite and responsive but not intrusive. Food always a little trendy. Nice flare on old fashioned comfort food.
Not as good as it once was. The burger was very salty. The menu has become quite limited and old favorites are no longer available.
This place was amazing for the last year. We drive 30 minutes just to go to dinner here. Then they changed chefs. Food came out burnt, they raised there prices, and we practically had to beg for them to take something off the bill, and for 4 people it was still very expensive. I would recommend they rehire there old chef. Will not return.
Food is just ok. Mostly overcooked. Greasy. Overpriced for what you get!
