This is by far the best pizza place anywhere in Connecticut ANYWHERE. I have never had a pizza be this constantly good anywhere else in Connecticut which is surprising coming from a place so close to New York. The service is always great lovely people, and ambience feels as if I'm in a basement with friends eating home made pizza pie.

Good old days is the best, we drive from New Haven at least twice a month for their pizza, service and happy hour! Don't sleep on the brussel sprout appetizer if they have it!
I've gone here a number of times. The pizzas are decent, but when you consider the price and the fact that they are medium in size, not good enough for a repeat. The staff is friendly and capable. I must say the drinks are very good. The bartenders I have had both made substantial and tasty drinks. Sitting at the bar is a bit odd as it's a zig-zag setup. Worth it occasionally but there are definitely better pizza joints around.

I can totally see why this is quickly becoming a local favorite in Newtown. As soon as you walk up to the door, charm for days: warm, friendly staff, HUGE fireplace and just a fun, festive, yet relaxing vibe. Excellent ingredients and easy to see how much care and intention the staff puts into their food.

Drinks are one of best around and food - service are great too.
Your pizza is a tad small but tasty nonetheless. The atmosphere is rustic, and the waitress is very friendly.
