I stopped in for a quick lunch and I was absolutely blown away the food was delicious. I had the Pakora and vegetable Samosa for an Appetizer both delicious and for my meal I ordered the Lamb Madras what amazing flavor the lamb was tender and fell apart with the touch of a fork the garlic naan was also super fresh and delicious as well. I can't wait to go back and try there lunch buffet on Sunday or Monday. A truly wonderful dinning experience thank u so much for a great experience.

My husband and I used to love this place until we ordered takeout last night and not only was there a thin 2” bone in my butter chicken, but also a rodent foot!!! Absolutely repulsive. After calling, the restaurant refunded just the one dish, even though all the food went in the trash after that. The email response I received from management was hardly an apology and they chalked it up to having just hired “a new kitchen worker.” As if that makes it okay to serve rodent parts in your food?!? I hope the health department checks the conditions of their kitchen and that neither I, nor anyone else, gets sick. Suffice it to say, we will never order from/ dine here again.

We frequently go out for Indian food but this was our first visit to Kolam and it quickly became our favorite. We had the Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken, Lemon Rice, Onion Naan and Garlic Naan - everything was incredible and each dish was by far, the best we’ve had! To top it off, the service was exceptional. I have some severe food allergies including some ingredients commonly used in Indian cuisine and they were extremely accommodating. We already can’t wait to go back!
This restaurant makes the best recipes for vegetarian and meat! They were very helpful and gave us generous food offerings. The vegetarian sausage was very delicious. Thank you.
If you haven’t been in a while, you should definitely check it out again. We used to go a lot, then it seemed to go downhill a few years ago. But I think it’s changed owners relatively recently. Currently, it’s definitely my favorite of the four Indian restaurants on 25 between Monroe and the flagpole. Love the variety in the menu, and the inclusion of southern Indian dishes. Some of the other local places don’t have the more flavorful and diverse recipes that this place offers.
Best Indian food around, with plenty of vegetarian options, and the staff is able to accommodate for different spice levels while explaining their amazing dishes very well. Extremely friendly people working here, creating a relaxed, fun, and family-like atmosphere. Fantastic curries, delicious dal, and certainly one of the best Masala Dosas I’ve ever had. Highly recommended!
Wonderful experience at Kolam. We have been back again and it was just as fantastic. Wonderfully authentic cuisine. Fast service and a lovely, casual atmosphere. I recommend it highly!

We recently celebrated our daughter’s first birthday party in Kolam restaurant.Party was an exceptional experience from start to finish.The staff was very helpful for everything including the decorations..We chose buffet for the party and there were a wide variety of options for food and it was so delicious..All these we got for an affordable price too.Everybody liked the party very much.The owner of the restaurant is a very Kind person and he offered us a complimentary meal weeks after….This is a perfect place to host a special event or even a dine in..We were completely impressed with the customer service and I highly recommend this place to everyone…..
Fantastic service and really awesome food. The owner went out his way and kept the restaurant open and letting us inside after closing time ( group of 20). Also made all the kids happy by offering them kulfi's. The 2 male staff were also wonderful and got our orders out correct and on time. 100% worth it to come back when in the area.

We were group of 20 & it was almost their closing time still FOOD & SERVICE was outstanding... NANI served us with big smile & patience .. they didnt just stay open late only for us but also gave kids complementary kulfi which was really nice of them :)
