Went for lunch, exceeded expectations.
Two friends and I went into this establishment with my certified service dog. We were “greeted” by a self-important male host with a top-knot whose eyes immediately darted down to my dog (she was not misbehaving and was wearing her vest), and instead of welcoming us, he asked us if we “would like to sit outside”… I asked him if he was posing that question because I had my dog with me, and he replied with some crap about there not being enough tables, which the naked eye could discern to be a falsehood by virtue of the fact that the majority of the tables were vacant. The place was not busy at all. I asked him if there was a space heater outside since it was in the low 60s and it had been sprinkling, and he simply replied that it was broken. Unbelievably flippant and rude, not to mention flagrantly discriminatory. I was embarrassed (mostly on his behalf) so I caved to mobilize out of the situation… and he escorted us outside. He and his topknot tried back-pedaling about 45 minutes later and came outside to tell us that a table had cleared if we wanted to move inside, adding somewhat defensively that he “didn’t want us to think we couldn’t sit inside” which he very, very obviously had. We had an unremarkable dinner outside while my service dog rested under the table (as she is trained to do and as she would have done had we been permitted by smug-top-knot boy to sit inside). My friend gave me a blanket from her car since I was wearing a dress, but we were literally shivering and it was extremely unpleasant and hurtful.
There was also a mouse who appeared to have ingested poison and was trying to die near our table to which we alerted several staff members who literally just kept stepping over him. My friend moved him into the grass on our way out.
Top-knot boy unfortunately needs to be educated that he’s not all that, that he needs a haircut, and that being rude, ignorant, and discriminatory reflect poorly on him and the establishment he's representing. This is the first time I ve been treated this way before ANYWHERE with her, and it was humiliating.
Not a fan. Several thumbs and beans down.
We had our daughter‘s bridal shower at Marketplace in early April. I have been meaning to review them ever since. We could not have been happier! The food was fabulous and the service was beyond excellent! Everyone commented on what a wonderful party it was in every way. Definitely 5 stars!!
Food was great and our server Ashley was awesome. Friendly and professional overall great dining experience.
We really enjoyed the atmosphere, and the service was excellent. The food was good, except for the steak sandwich. Those flavors just didn’t seem to work well together.
The market place restaurants are great. Food always good, service friendly.
Food was really bland!
Not really impressed, food was good nothing really special and high priced.
Service was horrible. First came in bartender was bored and slow and things picked up he wasn’t bored but still way slow!!!!
Won’t be back!
I ordered the mussels as my entrée instead of an app and it was delicious !
The sauce was so delicate and the mussels were perfectly cooked. Some had that sandy grit but overall were delightful! My friend ordered the Kobe Burger and it was very good too!
We came here spontaneously and it was great !
The place was beautifully decorated and Karen, our server, was lovely!

I used to *love* coming here. It was a staple in town we knew would cater to all needs. The food was fresh. It was local and we knew we would get a good meal.
These last three months or so we've popped by at different times on different days and it was our experience a few weeks ago that put the nail in the coffin for me. They served "chicken and waffles" and it was a Costco Belgian dessert waffle and two chicken tenders. I can make that garbage at home. I don't want to pay $15 - $20 for brunch I can do better. I come out to restaurants because I feel like I am getting something fresh, inventive and consistent.
Now it feels like a microwave kitchen. We've ditched it for our new town staple, Taco Dia.

The food was good, but the staff kept moving around us and we were rushed into leaving before we were ready.
