Marketplace in Newtown provided an exceptional venue for my bridal shower. Sebastian and Ashley, our servers, offered impeccable service with a warm demeanor. Manager Erick went above and beyond, being incredibly kind, reassuring, supportive, and helpful throughout the entire process!The ambiance was delightful, and the food was delicious. Highly recommend for any special occasion!

Sit at the bar and order dinner from Mike, the bar manager. He pays attention to every detail from drinks to food to conversation. Knowledgeable, kind and an extremely hard worker. Kudos to management for hiring Mike!Vegetarian options: Mike the bar manager gave us a fabulous suggestion for our salad, that wasn’t even on the menu. Falafel with the Thai salad…delish!

Excellent choice for Newtown dining. We loved their creative riffs on traditional dishes, like using ramen dough to wrap sushi, putting short rib filling in empanadas, or asprinkle of frito chips on deviled eggs. Would love to return and continue to explore the possibilities.

My husband and I are frequent customers of both market place newtown and Danbury. We recently have ordered take out from newtown a handful of times, placing our order online for pickup. Every single time, we get home and our food is wrong. We put in special instructions for dietary restrictions and those have not been met, the dishes are also not made as their stated on their menu, missing ingredients every single time. We figured maybe it was a once or twice thing, or perhaps the kitchen staff is new and getting accustomed to the menu. unfortunately it's been over three times and we will most likely not be back as the other locations are close enough and we have not had issues elsewhere.

Went here years ago and was very impressed... however this evening...... ew. Ordered a Kobe beef burger, which was ANYTHING but.. tasted like a frozen stop and shop patty. Def not a freshly made Kobe patty.... also ordered their Point Judith Calamari... which coming from someone who spent my summers there, this was NOT Pt.Judith Anything. Not only did they both arrive cold and soggy, but they're both foods that can not be reheated as it will ruin whatever is Saveable!! Salad was soggy and wet, and I didn't even get to the mashed potatoes before I was So turned off by the entire meal. Don't blame doordash either, as MP has done in the past when screwing up orders and false advertising...All I wanted was a Really Good Juicy burger. And everything I received was inedible.... MP. ??Get It Together??

Menu was varied enough. Food was really good all around. Loved the pork chop. Service was really good, the right balance between attention and annoyance. Nice restaurant inside but views of the parking lot detract a bit- but that's life and they are where there is a lot of traffic for patronage. They are a successful restaurant.
Went here for a dinner on a Saturday night and sat at the bar. We were there for over two and a half hours & were only asked once if we were okay or needed anything, we had to repeatedly ask for drinks once our beverages had been emptied for over 20 min, one of our entrees which was the Shrimp Market bowl came out cold where my friend didn't eat it. My scallops were overcooked there was no presentation on the plate where half my plate was white with everything pushed together to one side with one carrot and 5 pieces of Brussels sprouts. I ordered a bottle of wine and yes it is my fault for not looking at the label but brought me a bottle that as twice as expensive. I have been to many marketplaces but will never go back here.

Worst calamari I have ever had. Tiny rings small portion, the dips were horrible.Waiter kept bothering us to order over and over. I wasn't buying anything more that evening. Wouldn't even order any drinks.Never

This was my first time here and my sister brought me for a birthday lunch. First of all, the dining room was so beautiful, full of light and huge windows but with the rustic warmth of lots of vintage wood on the floors, ceiling, etc. When we walked in the smell f delicious food was all around us. They have a diverse menu and everything we saw was nicely presented. Whoever is running their Kitchen certainly knows what they're doing. Everything we had was cooked perfectly and was absolutely delicious. Our waiter was such a nice young man. He was extremely professional, attentive, friendly. I can't wait to go back there !
I don't usually write bad reviews but this time I must express my deep dissatisfaction with the level of service we received. The waitstaff were really inattentive, which greatly affected our overall dining experience. Furthermore the food we ordered did not meet our expectations, drinks were prepared poorly and we expected a better presentation just as how the pictures look on social media! I believe it is crucial to provide a feedback this time, as it allows your business to address areas that may require improvement. Thank you! We'll be back another time! Your restaurant is absolutely beautiful!
