Didn't eat out at all last week, apart from getting a cold Italian sandwich from this deli at 12PM last Sunday. Within hours I was completely sick, lasted me all throughout the week. Medical results came back as E-Coli. Avoid this place.

I have been coming to Newtown Deli for many years. Hundreds of times. The food is always fresh and delicious. The variety of foods is astounding. So many choices and each is great. Good old American food, Spanish food. Sandwiches and hot plates of food plentiful and delicious always. The owners are there to greet you each time you go in and the staff is exceptional always . Hundreds of times I’ve been here and never once a not optimal experience. My hats off to this great food establishment that we have in our beautiful town of Newtown, CT. Another delicious opened recently and there is simply no comparison. I expect soon the doors will close. They could take a page, a book even the whole library from Newtown Deli! Thank you guys for feeding my family and me for these many years!

10/10! I ordered breakfast for 25 people to be delivered the morning of my wedding to our hotel in Southbury. Louis & Jose were personable, kind, and made the process easy. The food was delivered on time, fresh, and with a smile. They even put each person's name on the container to make the process easier. Absolutely will be back!

This place is great! Got a chicken cutlet on a hard roll there the other day and was one of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time. Loaded with cutlets that were fresh and delicious, the other ingredients, bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato were also great and melded perfectly together adding a nice crunch and flavor. Price was good too! Keep up the great work!
