Traffic was bad on I-84 so I thought to take an exit and grab a quick bite. They sell pizza by the slice and it was pretty good despite being five dollars per slice.

I find the pizza here to be pretty average - it's not bad, but it's not great. However they are very consistent. And it's a good place to go if you're local and looking for a quick bite. They do some decent sandwiches and appetizers as well.

I was born and raised in the Morris Park section of the Bronx and I grew up eating some of the best Pizza in the USA.
I moved to Ct years ago and I have been disappointed by every Pizza establishment until I found Papa Al's. Their pizza is absolutely delicious and it takes me back to Morris Park Ave. every time I bite into a fresh slice.
It is the best and I will be going back again.

Some of the best pizza I've had in a long time! The crust, sauce and cheese are all quality, and come together beautifully with a wide selection of toppings for an awesome pizza experience! There is a ton of other things on the menu that I can't wait to try as soon as I can look past the great pizza options.

Just ate at Papa Al's pizza ? as far a CT pizza goes I would give it a solid 8. I liked that they weren't afraid to offer unique toppings I had the mango habenario chicken pizza it was very good. I would not classify this as NY style pizza. And I felt the price on slices was a bit high I paid a $13.15 for 2 normal sized slices of the specialty pizza and a 20oz root beer ? so I would estimate the slices at about $5 a slice. Atmosphere was alright. Staff was friendly.

I literally never give reviews anywhere. But believe me when I say I do not know how this place is still open. The god awful pizza that comes from this place is a joke. I’ve recently moved out to Brookfield from Watertown and this is the closest place to me unfortunately. Gave it 5-6 try’s just when I was in a pinch and needed dinner quickly. Every single time I was disappointed. From under cooked doughy pizza and non existent sauce to the soup of a pie I had last night. Couldn’t even pick up a slice because everything fell off. Whoever runs this place needs to learn how to make an actual pizza because is NOT it.

Unbelievable. We ordered a Sicilian pie and got home and it was dough. Called and the guy was argumentative and said that’s the way it should be. Made us another pie “well done” told us to keep this dough one, put it in the oven to cook it. Once cooked it never will cook properly so it is garbage, any baker knows that. He was very argumentative said next time order it well done. Obviously he does not get how to make this kind of pie. Plus we had to go to the bank to complain because they keep trying to charge us a second time. What’s he trying to get paid twice. Good customer service is apologetic and should have just credited us for the inconvenience. For a $25 dollar pizza it was subpar nothing to write home about. There’s a ton of pizza places. Take a ride to Tambascio’s won’t disappoint

I've only ever had takeout but it is by far my favorite pizza. I drive 40 minutes one way to pick up... that's how good it is ?

Oh wow, where to start!!! The food there is absolutely, positively amazing. The butter nut squash soup is probably the best I ever had. The lasagna and the lobster ravoli was soooo good. I had to sample everyones so I could share this review with you.We ordered probably one of the tastiest pizzas I have ever had. The chicken Parmigiano was to die for. The group of people sitting next to me were so happy with their dinners. The garlic cheese bread with homemade pasta sauce was so yummy. Their Ceasar salad was delicious. The staff there were so friendly and welcoming. Please try this place. There's limited indoor seating, but they offer a waiting staff and have outdoor seating for bueatiful days.

Philly steak sub. Asked for grilled onion, light mayo, lettuce, tomatoes. Got a pathetic sub. More onion than steak. No lettuce, or tomatoes. Asked for receipt. Got a copy of their order slip. Not an itemized receipt with prices. Wrong room #. Way over priced for this. And I tipped. Go elsewhere.
